Chapter 14-Long Time No See!

Lizzie's POV:

        The next day, I woke up and saw 3 text messages on my phone. I opened it and it said that it was from Scarlet!

          You see, Scarlet was my friend that I met a few years ago. She is currently 15 years old and she just texted me that she is coming over during the break! I am so happy right now! I havent seen her in soo long since she was really busy with school and stuff like that since she IS only 15 years old. What do you expect!? Anyways, I got ready and went out the door to StarBucks'. We promised eachother to meet there.

        As I got to StarBucks', I saw a girl standing by the doorway, looking around as if she were searching or waiting for someone. When I got a closer look, I noticed that it was Scarlet! I immediantly called her name and she hugged me! We pulled away and went inside to catch up.

Scarlet: "Anyways, I decided to live here for the summer since I have nowhere else to go..."

         Her parents left her as a kid and she was basically accepted in from another family. But the family sometimes is pretty harsh on her so she usually stays at my house in England. When I met her, I was 20 years old, and she was 10, so we pretty much have a huge difference in age, but we are still pretty good friends! I am very good with children, so we immediantly became friends. Anyways, I tried to calm her down and it worked. I told her that she can live at my place since she is pretty much homeless right now...

           We then went to my house and I told her that she can sleep in the guest room. I called Tyler and introduced them to eachother. They shook hands and Scarlet went to put all of her stuff away. It wasnt much since her family never really took care of her. She only brought clothes with her and the last of her parents stuff. We talked for a little while after she finished cleaning her room and putting all of her stuff away.

           She then told me that she wants to have a little walk in the park. I asked if I can come along but she said that she just want some time alone, I guess that she's still pretty sad about her parents leaving her. She still havent gotten over it.

        You see, Scarlet is a very sensitive girl, so some things she need to take a very long time to forget about......

Ooohh, CLIFFHANGER!!! I hope that you guys enjoyed the new chapter! I didnt think of this kind of cliffhanger, but I cant think of a good way to end the chapter and Im too lazy to think of one so I had to write that. But I think that it really adds a REALLY BIG PLOT TWIST to it dont you guys think? Leave a comment below to tell me if I should leave that cliffhanger there, or should I just delete that cliffhanger instead? Also, I want to give credit to kendraMeza for the character Scarlet to be in this story! Bye!! :)
