Chapter Seven: Sparks Fly

We met Rose, Alice, and Carmen at the auditorium. They smiled at us once we parked the car and got out. It was hardly dark yet outside. We met them up at a statue in front of the building.

“Did you have fun on the car ride here?” Alice said smirking.

“We sure did Auntie Alice! We listened to Taylor Swift!”

“I know. That’s why we put your mom and Aunt Kate with you.” I shook my head.

“I hate you,” I mouthed.

“Ah, I love you to, Bella. You’re great.” We all walked into the auditorium. Kate and Ness were absolutely flipping out. And that was before Taylor Swift came on stage. When she walked on stage. Ness squealed. Loudly. She was freaking out, and you know, started to cry. Kate was also losing her mind. I swear, it’s like she’s thirteen.”

The first song was Our Song. Ness and Kate knew every word. Again. And with every other song. I personally liked the song Haunted.  That last song might have been the best though, Sparks Fly. I really liked that one.

“The way you move is like a full on rainstorm

And I'm a house of cards

You're the kind of reckless

That should send me runnin'

But I kinda know that I won't get far

And you stood there in front of me

Just close enough to touch

Close enough to hope you couldn't see

What I was thinking of

Drop everything now

Meet me in the pouring rain

Kiss me on the sidewalk

Take away the pain

'cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile

Get me with those green eyes, baby, as the lights go down

Give me something that'll haunt me when you're not around

'cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile

My mind forgets to remind me

You're a bad idea

You touch me once and it's really something,

You find I'm even better than you imagined I would be.

I'm on my guard for the rest of the world

But with you I know it's no good

And I could wait patiently but I really wish you would...

Drop everything now

Meet me in the pouring rain

Kiss me on the sidewalk

Take away the pain

'cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile

Get me with those green eyes, baby, as the lights go down

Give me something that'll haunt me when you're not around

'cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile

I run my fingers through your hair and watch the lights go wild.

Just keep on keeping your eyes on me, it's just wrong enough to make it feel right.

Lead me up the staircase

Won't you whisper soft and slow?

I'm captivated by you, baby, like a firework show.

Drop everything now,

Meet me in the pouring rain,

Kiss me on the sidewalk,

Take away the pain

'cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile.

Get me with those green eyes, baby, as the lights go down

Give me something that'll haunt me when you're not around

'cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile

The sparks fly...

Oh, baby, smile...

The sparks fly...”

It was dark outside when we pulled at the house. The others beat us again. The ride home was talking about every little thing that went on at the concert. That is, until I put on the CD again. It was hilarious.

Edward, Jake, and Garrett were waiting for us when we got back. They jumped off the couch when we got in. We were engulfed in hugs the moment we walked in. “How was it?” Garrett said.

“Crazy!”

“Amazing!”

“It was okay.”

“Okay?” Kate practically screamed at me. “It was way better than just okay. It was the best concert ever! She song the best songs and it was an amazing show!”

“Oh yeah. Heads up, Bella. Kate loves Taylor Swift,” Garrett said smirking.

“Yeah, I got that.” He laughed.

“I see. So you got to ride with the crazy people? I bet that was fun.”

“Garr, I am not crazy,” Kate said, putting her hands on her hips.

“Um, Kate,” Ness said. “We are a tad crazy. There’s nothing wrong with that though.”

“Of course there’s not.” Garrett laughed and picked Kate up bridal style. “I like crazy.” She chuckled.

“Then I’m your girl.” He laughed and carried her upstairs. I looked down. They were so cute. Edward put his hand on my lower back and motioned to the door.

“Let’s say for my sake we get as far away from here as possible.”

“Okay. Good night Ness, Jake. Sweet dreams.” Edward and I walked out the door and ran. I could tell we weren’t going to the cottage. I followed Edward where ever he was going. We soon ended up in a meadow. There were a lot of different shades of blue flowers. It would be too dark to see anything if I weren’t a vampire. Edward and I didn’t leave the meadow until the next morning.

A/N Hey Y’all. Sorry this took too long. I’ve been on vacation all week long and there was absolutely no internet in the hotel, so all I could do was type. I do love it here though, I’m in Florida on the beach. I love the ocean and do not want to leave. Oh well. Winter breaks almost over. Just five more months of school! Halfway done! Well, I’ll try to upload faster, but four votes first? Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!!
