(Lonot's POV):
(Just so you all know this is going to need some work and is currently at rough draft status. I'll be editing soon: I'm not as pleased with it as I normally am with it, but for now it will do.)

I drew in a sharp breath, it wasn't possible.
Gaurgon had brought Umay back to us, but not in the way any of us had dreamed. She was completely and truly dead. Her lifeless body laid before me, but I couldn't bring myself to believe it. My vision was veiled with a watery curtain and I dropped to my knees.
"Hello my love..." I choked.
I felt a hand on my shoulder, but it did not comfort me in the least. The one I cared for most...was dead. Even though her body was so close, Umay was further away then ever. I reached down and brushed the white matted hair away from her face, she looked at peace and that counted for something. I gently touched her cold cheek.
"Be at peace Umay."
How could I have let this happen?
My anger sparked, this wasn't fair. After this war was over Umay and I had planned so many things together. On the day the war ended I had planned to-
I turned on my heel and pointed an accusing finger toward Alma, "This is all YOUR fault! If it weren't for you Umay would still be alive today! You should have just kept her with you when those bricks fell! How could you be so selfish!"
Alma looked at me, her face just as serene and just as kind. She smiled sadly, "I'm truly sorry Lonot, I did everything in my power to help her-"
"Well apparently it wasn't enough!" I yelled at her.
Merlander gave me a disapproving look.
My heart was burning and my eyes glowed. When I say glowed, I mean literally glowed. I shook my head furiously; yelling at them wouldn't help, what happened, happened.
"I'm sorry Alma, everyone, my anger got hold of me...again." I cursed under my breath. "Please forgive me."
"It's alright Lonot, we understand what you're going through. Just try not to cut anyone's heads off in the process alright?" Ambrosine said with a small glimmer in her eye. She frowned as she cast her gaze down at Umay's body.
"The hearts of the gods are as pure as gold." She muttered.
"Why is this line so important Ambrosine?" I asked hesitantly.
"I hope that didn't sound stupid..."
She looked up at me, "It's important because I think that Umay has something that our new goddess needs. A heart."
I looked at Merlander and Alma. They looked just as confused as I was.
"Do you have to be so mysterious? Can't you just tell us?" I huffed anxiously.
"Your lack of patience will be your downfall." Merlander stated.
I rolled my eyes, "Great. Thank you, Oh ancient book worm of Candy Land."
"Quiet." Alma commanded.
"Yes Alma..." Merlander and I said in chorus.
"Anyways-" Ambrosine continued, "I will need to open up Umay's body to confirm my theory and let's hope that I'm right. If I'm not than, I have no idea what this prophecy is about."
"You can't just cut open my wi- I mean Umay's body!" I coughed hoping they didn't notice my blunder.
Ambrosine gave no sign of hearing my comment because she proceeded to ask for a knife.
