To be continued...
He was surprised to hear her voice , it was a bit hoarse and low due to the crying and screaming.
"Wait , what? You can't leave in this condition.. if you want I can take you to the hospital , it's better if you get checked they might recommend you something for the pain." He said, concern filled his face as he studied her status quietly.
She shook her head immediately.
She muttered a thanks and went to stand when a burst of pain shot through her legs, weakening her legs , letting her body collapse. He shot his hands, wrapping them around her waist balancing her in reaction to prevent her fall. She looked extremely pale and her expression fell as her eyes slowly closed, letting her body drop into his arms. He quickly reacted and swept her into his arms , carrying her bridal style.
After a while of waiting for the taxi he called, the yellow cab suddenly appeared. The driver got out of the car and opened the door. He got in, placing her in the backseat as he sat next to her, holding onto her waist as her head rested peacefully on his shoulder.
Once they arrived in front of his Penthouse building in the city, he paid the taxi driver and managed to get her out of the car and into the building's lobby. He greeted Bob who was currently working the night shift at the front of the luxurious desk. He carried her in front of the elevators and pressed the button that signaled 'up'. Waiting for patiently for the elevator to come, he looked at the stranger who was in his arms. He gently blowed on her face to uncover the hair that was covering her face, he stared at her for a long moment that he didn't realize the elevator ding, informing him that it had arrived.
Fortunately, there wasn't anybody in the elevator so it was easier for him to get in. He pressed the circled button that was labeled '12'. He leaned against the elevator walls as the elevator doors closed, he looked down at her, observing her pale face. Her long, light brunet/blonde hair hung off his arm. He walked out of the elevator and walked into his Penthouse. He walked over to the living room who had an amazing sight of the city, still dark outside with a slightly yellow color, indicating the sun would rise soon.
He gently placed her on the leathered white, comfy sofa that had several pillows. He placed one beneath her head, laying her down on the sofa. He gently took off her wedges that were hurting her bruised foot, slowly caressing her bruised skin trying to disappear the colors that were shown on her skin, He took in her appearance she was wearing; light blue jeans with a pink blouse and light camel wedges. It somehow looked like she was dressed to got out. He bit his bottom lip thinking of what to do. Scratching the back of his neck he paced back and forth until he had an idea. He walked up the stairway that lead to the bathroom, he quickly rummaged through the cabinets to find alcohol and cotton, he grabbed the alcohol and the cotton walking back down the staircase to the living room.
He slowly walked towards her, sitting by her side on the same sofa near her legs, observing her breathing patterns.
Ugh.. what am I doing? I look like a freaking creep.
He thought to himself.
He twisted the bottle cap of the alcohol, opening it and pouring a little of it on the cotton ball, hovering the cotton ball underneath her nose. He furrowed his eyebrows as he waited for a reaction to the strong smell. He looked at her carefully leaning to observe her face. His face filled with concern as he saw no movement or reaction to the smell. But then he slowly saw her opening her eyes slowly as if her eyes were the sun rising. He released a sigh of relief he didn't know he was holding.
