He positioned his chair underneath the table, taking place directly behind it. She leaned back in hers, the sensation of her heart pounding rising in to her temples. His stare burned fear in her. The man removed the pen from his teeth, slamming it against the table. His breath reeked of black coffee he'd been sipping on since stepping foot in the interrogation room. A laminated photo he placed next to the pen is swept across by the calloused tips of his fingers.
