"Jesus, can you do anything right" I shouted at my assistant once again.
This is my thirteenth assistant this month and she might be the worst.
"Im so-sorry s-sir, I-I-"
"You're fired get out." I said bluntly and watched as her face fell into a huge frown, turning anyway, knowing better than to argue.
I sighed and ran my hands through my hair, slightly pulling at the roots. I picked up my office phone and called down to my receptionist.
"Yes sir." Jennifer answered.
"I need you to put up another 'assistant needed' sign everywhere."
"Again sir?"
"Yes."
"It's only been two days."
"And all she did was fuck up. Now do what I told you to." I hung up before she could reply.

Erin.
I rushed around trying to make sure I had everything for my interview.
Last night I found a spot for an assistant and i immediately knew I had to get this job.
I found my best casual dress which was an olive green dress and I slid on some dark nude heels to finish.
I curled my hair quickly and did my makeup as quickly as possible.
I grabbed my keys and put in my contacts before running as best as I could without tripping to the door.
I ran out to my little white jeep and raced down to the building my interview was held at.
Mahone enterprises
I woke up late so I was already pushing it.
I had to be there in 25 minutes and it was a 10 minute drive there.
I finally get there without making any stops and I beat Monday morning traffic.
I quickly hop out of the car and jog then stop to walk and look casual.
I walked in like I was professional and went straight to the front desk.
"Excuse me, umm, im here for the interview with Mr. Mahone." I say a little too quiet.
The woman looks up and smiles.
"And what's your name ma'am?" she asked, turning to her computer about to type.
"Erin Lathum." I say a little louder this time.
She quickly types something into the computer before turning back to me with that same smile.
She must have woken up on the right side of the bed.
"He will be with you in a moment after he finishes up his meeting. You can take a seat over there while you wait." she said motioning towards the chairs behind me.
I smiled and nodded before walking over to an empty seat and sat down.
I pulled out my phone checking the time seeing that it was 8:03 a.m.
I pulled down my notification bar and saw that my best friend, Tyler, had texted me.
Tyler: good luck with your interview booty🍑
I chuckled at his stupid text and started typing.
Me: thanks ugly 😒
I turn my phone off and put it away.
He knows how much I hate being called 'booty' and that's exactly why he continues to call me it everytime we talk.
Tyler has been my bestfriend since high school and I honestly don't know what I would do without him.
As I thought of some things I need to pick up later I heard someone clear their throat from in front of me.
I look up to see a tall man in a business suit towering over me.
His beautiful features distracted me from everything else that was going on but I refused to stare and stayed professional.
I stood and smoothed out my dress a little.
"Mr. Mahone?" I ask not sure if this is him or not.
"Yes. Erin?" he asked with the same tone as me yet way more stern.
"Yes sir." I said confidently. No matter how much this man intimidated me, I would not show him any weaknesses.
"Well I hope im not interrupting your little texting session." he said sarcastically and it took everything in me not to roll my eyes and tell him off.
"Im sorry I just didn't know how long I would be waiting and my fr-"
"Follow me." he interrupted me and started walking towards an elevator.
I was mad as hell that he was being so rude but I quickly obliged because i didn't want to look bad.
Maybe he isn't always like this, maybe he's just having a bad day.
Or so I thought...
Mahone
