Erin

So far, I've been working for about a week and things have been going well. Aside from his attitude, Austin was a pretty good boss.

He was very needy though, it was like he needed me every five seconds. His harsh tones quite frankly scare me and he always looks so intimidating.

But bills need to be paid and this job would sure do it.

As I wait in my office, typing away on my computer, the phone began to ring.

"Erin, I need you to go get some things for me. Come to my office for the list" I set the phone down and stand up in my uncomfortable heels that I'm being forced to wear.

The dress code here sucked and was honestly very frustrating, but it wasn't impossible to deal with, just annoying.

"Yes sir" I walk in and sit down in front of his desk.

"I need you to run a few errands for me" he throws me a note pad that had a list full of things, looking down at some papers.

"You want me to do all of these today?"

The list was beyond long and I only had four hours left here.

"Is that a problem" he looked slightly ticked off, looking up at me through his lashes with a not so friendly face.

"No sir, I'll have them done"

"Better. Get to work now."

He turned around in his chair and continued what he was doing before.

Already about  two hours into the errands, my stomach began to growl aggressively. I had skipped breakfast and lunch because I was too busy with the list of things to do.

Feeling a little weak, I sat down in the building I was currently in for Austin's dry cleaning.

"Mahone" the man called out with the suits in hand.

I stood up and walked over to get them, thanking him before I left.

I looked at the list when I entered the car that had been assigned to drive me around today.

Checking off the ones I had already done, I groan at the ones I still had to do.

I had only done four things out of ten so far and that took me two hours already.

Sighing, I tell the driver where to go next.

It was now eight o'clock and I had finally finished the list.

My shift was over three hours ago and I still had nothing to eat.

I knock on the door, hearing a light 'come in'.

"I finished, the driver said he would take everything to your house" I stood in place, wanting to sit oh so badly.

"Thank you, you can go now"

Internally scoffing at his blunt appreciation, I began to walk off.

That was until my stomach growled extremely loud.

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing. See you tomorrow mr. Malone."

I tried walking out quickly but his booming voice stopped me.

"Sit" what am I, a dog?

But I do as told, not wanting to piss him off.

"Did you eat today?" he leaned back in his chair, crossing his muscular arm over the other.

"Yes" then another growl was released.

He lifted his eyebrow, knowing I was lying.

"Ok no" I felt like a toddler that had just confessed to breaking a vase, it was humiliating.

"Why not?"

"Well I didn't necessarily have time" i slumped down in my chair a little.

He turned to his phone and typed something I couldn't see.

"Come on"

"Pardon me" I was extremely confused as to what he meant.

"Stand up and walk with me" he said slowly, as if I didn't speak English.

Walking slowly behind him, I saw that we were exiting the building.

"Mr. mahone, where exactly are we going?"

"Dinner"

My eyes widen as a wave a shock washed through me.

"I'm sorry?"

He stopped and turned around to look at me as we approached, what I assumed to be his car.

"I'm taking you to dinner. You need to eat, it isn't healthy going all day with no food. Now get in"

Opening my door, he stared me down, making sure I did as told.

I sat down and watched him walk around to his side after shutting my door.

"So what do you have in mind?"

"You like seafood?"
