Erin.

After my interview with mr. Mahone, I went shopping for more clothes that were appropriate for my new job.

I was beyond excited, I could barely sleep right that night.

It is now Monday morning and I am supposed to be at work by 7:30.

I woke up around five, giving me time to get ready, eat, and beat traffic.

I successfully did those things and ended up at work fifteen minutes early.

In my opinion, it was better to be early rather than late or right on time.

This time, I avoided my phone and sat patiently as I waited for 7:30 to come around.

As soon as it did, the receptionist's phone rang and she gave me the signal to head up to mr. Mahone's office.

I'm not going to lie, I was beyond nervous, but I couldn't show myself as a weak fragile girl.

I wanted to present myself as a strong, independent woman.

I will not end up like the rest of his assistants.

I finally made it up to his office and knocked on his door three times.

"Come in" with his tone, I couldn't tell what kind of mood he was in.

I opened the door and walked in, shutting it behind me.

"Sit" he ordered, not once taking his eyes off of his paperwork laid out in front of him.

I did as told and crossed my legs, my hands finding each other like magnets.

"Ok, today you will learn my everyday basic needs. When you come up to my office, you bring a coffee. One cream and one sugar, got that?" He only glanced at me as he asked the last part.

"Yes sir."

"Then, I will need you to send out any and every piece of paperwork I give to you. Some will be in the building, some will be out. I have a driver who will take you to whom ever I need you to meet with."

"Ok"

He looked up at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Sir " I quickly finished.

"Good. Now if I don't have paperwork I will have meetings I will probably need to attend to, if I attend those meetings, you will come with me. If I don't then you will go alone and take my place. You need to know everything I do so that you won't look like a fool."

I wanted to roll my eyes at his snarky comment but quickly dismissed the idea.

"Yes sir, is that what I will be doing today?" I tried to sound as polite as possible but it's kind of hard when you're communicating with an asshole.

"Some of it, I need you to get my coffee, print ten copies of these manuscripts each and take this," he bent down to pull out a blue folder.

"To Josh Ben. My driver knows where his location is, all you have to do is give them to him and tell him that Mr. Mahone needs a better copy. Can you handle that?"

He was testing my ability and it pissed me off.

There was no need for the last question.

"Of course I can sir. I will be back with your coffee as soon as possible and have these printed out in no time." I said confidently as I grabbed all the paperwork and held them tightly.

"Good, go" he turned to his computer and started typing like a maniac.

As I turned around I rolled my eyes and walked away.

When I walked out of his office I realized I don't know where anything is.

I was tempted to turn around and ask him but then I decided against it.

I went back to the lobby and headed straight for the receptionist.

"How may I help you Erin?"

"Well, I need to know where the beak room is so I can get Mr. Mahone some coffee, I need to know where the printing machine is, and I need to know how to contact Mr. Mahone's driver so that I can take this folder to someone." I rambled.

"Ok, the break room is on the second floor, third room to the right. The printer is in the room right next to it, on the left. And when you need him, just come back to me and I will call his driver." She smiled.

Bless her.

"Thank you so much"

"It's no problem."
