I unpacked all of my bags that consisted off clothes, toiletries, and bedding. I really did not own that much because I could never afford tons of fancy things. I had the necessities and that is all that mattered. I sat down on my bed. I could already tell I liked this place better than my "home". This place was quiet. I took out my journal and started to write. I have always written in a journal it helped get my feelings out.
Dear Diary,
Do you get sick of me writing that on every page? Probably not that's why diaries were invented after all. Well, you will definitely be proud of me. I moved out. I just walked out and left. I don't know why I felt like today was the day but I did. I already feel like home here even though I have not met the other roommates. Ahh if only the people of the town could see me now. I am free. I am even rooming with a guy. Can you believe me cause I definitely cant? I think the other roommates are here. But I will have to put more in later.
Till then Lillian
I walked out of my room to see what was making all the noise. I really hoped it was not Jessica. I did not want to meet the girl I was mistaken for. When I walked in I saw a tall girl with dark hair. She was beautiful. When she saw me she ran over to me giving me a huge hug, which I was not expecting. I'm Sara she said releasing me from the hug. She was so beautiful I felt ashamed of my 5'1 height and curvy body. I am not saying I am fat because I most certainly am not I just am really small. Sara, on the other hand, could make any guy fall to their knees. We talked for about 2 hours. I learned that James and Sara were siblings and James was 2 years older. Sara was really funny and down to earth despite her beauty.
After we continued to talk we realized that we were missing a person. Sara knew very little about the other roommate other than he was a boy and an exchange student from London that was attending the university. We decided we would just rent some movies and order pizza and wait for him to arrive. I had so much fun that night. Sara was so nice and told funny stories about James. Even though James made a pretty crappy impression at first he was really sweet but a total player when he went through all the girls he has been through. It is an extremely long list. Sara even told me a story that once she came home and was attacked by a girl claiming I was sleeping her boyfriend. We laughed at that one for a really long time.
When we were just calming there was a knock on the door. I got up to open it. When I opened it stood a boy. Probably about 6'2 with brown eyes and muscles that poked out of every part of his shirt. I could also see a small tattoo poking out of his black tee shirt. Just when I realized I had not said anything he asked in the most amazing British accent," Are you just going to stand there love or will you let me in so I can officially meet you."
I let him in and sat down on the couch. He introduced himself as Daniel and then kindly asked where the room was. He was staying in the room right next to mine. I showed him to his room and told him goodnight. I said goodnight to the Sara and James. Even though it was only 11 I was tired. Moving out and arriving at a new place in 1 day was extremely tiring. I went to my room and got ready for bed. I was looking for one of my shirts when I opened what I thought was a closet. When I opened it I saw Daniel only in his boxers unpacking his bags.
A/N Cliffhanger. I know I am still probably talking about myself at this point but comment and vote. Tell me any suggestions.
