THE ONLY THING LIGHTING the back parking lot behind Walmart was the full moon. If someone had walked back there early that morning, they would find Izzy, laying naked on the ground, with a sad, pained expression on her face, unable to breathe.

Izzy stared up at the sky, at the moon, at the stars, wondering if anyone was out there looking for her. She couldn't even bring up the strength to cry. She felt sick and wanted nothing more than to be back with her family.

Suddenly, she began to see the bright light at the end of a tunnel. She began to see a place that would rid her of the pain she was in. A place she had longed to go ever since a stranger had taken advantage of her body.

"Mom?" she whispered.
