Transformers Prime: A new bond
Part 2: Willow

Willow is forced to spend the summer with her mom who she hasn't seen in six years. But will it really be as boring as she thinks?

As the mini green jeep pulled away from large brick house Willow let out a big sigh and stepped up onto the porch. Then went inside. From there she kicked her blue sneakers off her feet and sat her bags down. Her summer vacation had finally started and she already wished that it would end right now. All she could look forward to the past few months was going to go snowboarding in Colorado with her dad and his new girlfriend Sam, but instead her father thought that it would be a good for her to spend some time with her mother or as Willow called her Carol. He figured it would be a good way for them to reconnect with one another. Willow was pretty sure it was her moms whole idea. Spend three months with others my daughter and then I'll be able to be apart of her life again. Well Willow wasn't having any of it!
It had been over six years since Carol had walked out on her husband and daughter and Willow didn't want anything to do with her. If her own mother didn't give a damn about her why should she? It didn't seem fair.
"Hey look how big you've grown!" Willow pulled her hair back and shook her head. It was going to be a long summer.
"Well yeah. I am seventeen now". Willow echoed back very monotoned. She wasn't going to try at all. She didn't want to be here and she was going to make it well known to Carol.
"Yeah...it sure as been". Carol replied. Willow could sense fake happiness in her voice. She was trying not to show how upset she was by it, but Willow wasn't buying into it.
"So how's school?" Carol asked sitting down at the table. Willow sat down beside her and crossed her arms over her chest.
    "Good I guess". She answered.
"That's good. Do you like it in Seattle?"
Willow rolled her eyes.
"Compared to here, yes!" She raised her voice.
"So how's John doing? Is he treating you okay". She asked. Willow shrugged her shoulders.
"He's fine". She replied. Just like every parent who wanted to be back in there kids lives her mom was trying to gather as much data as she could about her! Willow stood up and shook her head.
     "Willow". Carol pleaded.
"What?! Don't go! Stay here!" She shouted grabbing her bags.
      "I just..."
Willow turned her head. "You just what? Want to get to know me again? After six years of never returning my texts or emails?! No thank you!" Willow replied. Carol sighed and sat down in the last steps of the grand staircase.
"I'm going to unpack. I don't really have a choice if I want to be here or not so I might as well get comfortable". Carol ran her fingers through her hair and nodded.
"G-good choice. Umm dinner is at five". She stated.
     "Okay".
"And my neighbor Charlie is having a campfire later so I was hoping that we could go". Carol stated. Willow put her bags on the large bed and shook her head. She hadn't even been here for a day and already her mom was planning activities with her. She shook her head and slammed down on the bed.
"Sure...whatever". She replied. She had to try at least somewhat for her dad. If she could prove to him that she could get along with her mom then maybe just maybe he would pick her up early. And they could maybe just get in a few last runs of snowboarding before the season ended.
"There's no way I'm spending my entire summer here in Jasper, Nevada! We're pretty much in the middle of nowhere". She rolled her eyes.
"There's nothing exciting out here for thousands of miles". She replied to herself. As she began to un pack her stuff she could hear the loud roar of a car engine as it was speeding around. Probably just some dumb street racer she thought to herself. Oh how wrong she was.
