Over the Gate

Lily stepped out of the car and was about to speak when she saw the Chigers. She froze in place and slowly got back in the car, but then Tara told her to go out and slowly make it to the gate. "We might just be able to climb over!"

The female Chiger stood up and shook her head and helped her mate up. Then, all of the sudden, the animals saw their baby running slowly, for a cheetah, that is, towards them. It then tripped over itself and got back up. The Chigers ran towards it and bonded, happy to see their baby. "This is out chance!" Lily squealed, running towards the gate. Everyone else followed her, hurrying.

Once everyone was at the gate, they hugged the people on the other side through the bars. But then Quinn shouted, "they're walking towards here with the freaking baby!"

Then the climbing started. The cheetahs were tired and didn't want to run, also wanting to keep up with their baby. They continued climbing and, once they were over, Lily pressed a black button that would close the roof. Suddenly, from all of the sides of the walls, a grey roof slid out, going to end up meeting in the middle. It was faster than the gate, probably because no one ever used it over and over again. It was like a person speed walking. It was also probably designed to be fast because it had more ground to cover.

But suddenly, the cheetahs burst into a run, the baby beside them; in the middle. They pounced on the fence and started to try to bend the bars. Carl then laughed. "How do they know how to do that? Oh, right, the 300 IQ part!"

Lily and Tara looked confused, turning to Carl. "What. Did. You. Say?"

Carl laughed awkwardly. "Uh, did Ted not tell you? The scientists wanted to do some experimenting and gave the animals 300 IQ," he said as if it was no big deal. "Come on, let's not argue and yell now! We have to go!"

Everyone hopped in Quinn's Sedan, squeezing together. Bill and Abigail shared a seat, Quinn drove with Sheldon by her side. And Lily sat in the middle seat with Tara to her right, Carl in the tiny trunk. They all drove away from the gates, knowing that it would take forever for the Chigers to get through. The baby could fit, but it wasn't fast enough.

Once they were at the helicopter spot that Ted had once taken them, the helicopter was still there waiting. The pilot was gone. So Abigail said something that no one thought she would ever say. "I know how to drive a helicopter."
