The SHIELD Helicarrier blew up and Captain America, Steve Rogers plunged into the waters of the Potomac River. As he was about to drown, Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier swam after him using all his strength to pull him out. They reached the shore with Steve, who is still unconcious. He placed his head over his chest to see if he's alive. He heard his heart beating ever so steadily. "If only I knew who he was." He began to sing to him
"What would I give to remember you? What would I pay to stay here beside you?"
He felt tears beginning to form in his eyes.
"I didn't mean to nearly kill you. Please forgive me. Where would we walk, where would we run? If we could stay all day in the sun. Just you and me,"
Bucky gently stroked his face making Steve stir a little.
"and I could be, part of your world."
Steve opened his eyes and Bucky swam off somewhere leaving him alone. Black Widow ran to where he was. "Bucky, he pulled me out of the water and saved me from drowning."
Somewhere, Bucky was observing what was going on behind a big rock. She walked off with the Super Soldier by her side. Bucky perched himself on the same rock he hid behind and sang again.
"I don't know when, I don't know how. But I know something's starting right now. Watch and you'll see, someday I'll once again be part of your world!"
He lost his balance at the edge and fell on the shore on his back upside-down mumbling curse words in Russian under his breath.
