Willow's pov
I sat with my mother and Hunter at the table. We were brought fried Salmon and spinach.
"I hope you like the food, Hunter. It was made by the best."
"It looks delicious, thank you for inviting me."
"Hunter I would like my mother to get to know you, I feel as if we're meant to be together," I fiddled with my fingers as I waited for someone to answer, Hunter was obviously embarrassed and my mother was contemplating whether or not I was serious. Hunter grabbed my hand under the table and squeezed it. I immediately felt better.
"Hunter what class is your family?" My mother asked rudely.
"Why does that matter?! You'd rather me marry a pampered little boy who can do nothing for himself? I'd rather marry the man I'm sitting next to!" I got up from my seat and walked away.Hunters POV
Willow got up from the table and stormed off, I hated to cause so much trouble but I just knew Willow was for me.
"Please excuse me, I'll go find Willow," I got up from the table and ran after Willow. "You know Willow, I never was a fan of hide and seek, I still bet I could find you," I heard a light giggle in a closet close by. I stepped by the door and jerked it open; she wasn't in there.
"Gotcha!" Willow jumped on my back and kissed my cheek. I began to laugh hysterically.
"You got me you little cheat," she got off my back and I turned to face her. A curly strand fell in front of her eyes but I pushed it back. I hugged her tightly, wrapping my arms around her small figure and squeezing lightly. I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder and walked back to the dining room.
"I found her!" I called out. I turned slightly red realizing I'm acting like a 10 year old. I cleared my throat and set her down, I was making a fool of myself in front of her mother. "I am so sorry," her mother stood and looked at me."I haven't seen my daughter so happy since her father was around. You may be no prince but you have a heart of gold. If you feel my daughter is for you, you have my blessing," I felt tears in my eyes, I truly did love Willow, even though I haven't known her long, I just knew she was the one for me.
"Thank you ma'am, I will take very good care of Willow," her mother walked off and Willow leaped into my arms. I kissed her, never wanting to stop. I loved her.
