Chapter 3

(Y/n) POV

I opened the door with tears already in my eyes.

When it was fully opened Mark looked at me with shock.

He was having sex with another girl, but the worst part was I know this girl. It was the same girl that Mark was checking out during school.

He cheated on me the day after our anniversary.

My heart is shattered.

Mark got off the bed with pure shock on his face. He put his hands up ahead of him like he was trying to reach out for me.

"(Y/n) listen to me."

I couldn't move, I couldn't speak, I could feel the tears coming from my eyes.

"(Y/n) please it's really not what it looks like I promise you. I love you (Y/n). You know that."

One thought came to my mind.

Run

I turned around and bolted out the door. Mark started running after me, but when I got out the door Mark stopped.

I ran and ran until u couldn't run anymore. I spotted an alleyway and sat down. I started crying, I couldn't stop. It felt like I've been crying for hours.

When I finally stopped I realized I had no idea where I was.

"Well hello."

I turned around. No one was there.

I was very confused at this point.

"You look confused."

"Who's there?"

"You don't remember me?"

I know this person? Who could it be?

"Your a very hard person to track I thought you were still in Ireland, but I find out you went to California L.A. I was very surprised to hear this news (Y/n)."

"Who are you? What do you want?"

"We'll meet in time trust me my love."

"(Y/n)?"

I turned around. There was Jack on the sidewalk looking at me very confused.

"Hi Jack"

"What are you doing here?"

"It's a very long story."

I looked at the ground wanting to cry again.

"Come with me. Come to my place."

"Ok Jack."

Me and him walked to his place in silence. I was gonna have to talk to him about tonight, but one thing is crystal clear in my head.

I'm divorcing Mark as soon as possible.
