Chapter 6

(Y/n) POV

I woke up cuddled with Jack on the couch. I quickly got up and left.

I was walking down the street, I stopped at the court house and walked inside.

There was a lady sitting at the front desk.

"Hello, how may I help you."

"Um I'd like to divorce someone."

I really didn't know what I was doing, but I was going to divorce Mark as soon as possible.

"Ok, well here's the paper just sign here and put your spouses signature here. If you have any problems come back and arrange a court section if you want custody of any kids you have or other property things."

"Thank you."

I turned around and walked out the door. So I'm gonna have to fight for custody over Tim.

I walked back to mine and Marks house, or my old house.

I walked straight in and saw Mark in tears on the couch.

He looked up at me with hurt eyes. I almost just ran up to him and forgive him and go back to the way we were before but I knew that wasn't going to be the case right now.

"(Y/n)!!"

He got up and came up to me. He looked like he was about to give me a hug, but I put the divorce paper up in front of him.

He stopped and looked at it. Tears started to flow down his face again.

"You want a divorce?!"

"Yes Mark I do. Now if you can sign this I will be leaving. I want full custody over Tim, I want you to pay child support. If you try and keep Tim I will take you to court and fight for him."

He just looked at me shocked, tears just flowing down his face. My heart ached from seeing him like this, but he hurt me as well.

"(Y/n) please just let me explain."

"No Mark you really hurt me, I can no longer trust you I want a divorce and full custody of Tim so please sign this."

"(Y/n) please don't do this!"

"Mark just sign it so I can go, I don't want to be here any longer."

"(Y/n) I love you!!! Please don't leave me!!"

He was on his knees begging me to stay with him, but I have already made up my mind.

"Sign it."

"What if I don't."

"Then we'll still be married and I'll figure out a different way to divorce you without your signature."

He was still on his knees looking up at me with tears streaking down his face.

"(Y/n) please.... stay."

"Mark I don't love you no more. I want a divorce so please sign this."

He got up and went into his bedroom.

He came back with a pen.

"If I sign it... will you be happy?"

I hesitated to answer.

"Yes."

He signed it and gave it back to me.

" You can have full custody over Tim, but I want to see him on weekends at least, I'll pay child support... one more thing I need to tell you though."

"What would that be?"

"I love you and I will always love you. I'm not gonna date anyone else, I hope that your happy. I want you to be happy."

"I hope your happy in life as well, I'll be getting my stuff tomorrow. By Mark."

"Bye (Y/n)."

I turned around and walked out the door and shut it behind me. The last thing I heard was a thud and sobs coming from the house.

I had finally divorced Mark and I was now single.

I started heading to my friends house to pick up Tim.
