After the gentle morning sun had shone on my face I woke up smiling.
Just one more day and Joffrey'd be back. Just one more day.

As I was used to it, my maid came in, put on my underdress and normal dress and I went outside for a walk.

"But m'lady, what about your breakfast?", she was asking me when I had reached the chamber door.

"Later, I am not hungry.", I answered and kept walking.

Soon I felt a sudden, heavy noise every time I took another step. A guard had appeared behind me.

Well where has that 'loyal' man been when I really needed his help yesterday?

Well where has that 'loyal' man been when I really needed his help yesterday?

"I wish to be alone.", I told stopped walking, turned around to him and looked at him. He was at least four heads higher than me.

He had stopped and looked at me through the slots of his golden helmet.

I turned around again, expecting no heavy steps to be heard behind me, but they appeared again.

"What did I tell y-", I started getting furious but got interrupted.
"The queen regent has told me to keep care of you.", the big man in the golden armor said.

"But I wish to be alone.", I insited. I wanted to go to my family and tell them about the things that happened after our last talk.

"My lady, I can't. The queen has ordered it. The king wants to know you safe.", he apologized.

"Fine. If there's no other way."

Together with the guard, I arrived at the pavillion, where we had sat before. Sansa wasn't there, only my grandmother and Margaery had a talk.

"Good morning beloved family!", I greeted them with a smile.

"No need for unnessecary formalities, child. Sit down.", grandmother replied.

"I suppose you want to know how the talk was?", I asked them.

Margaery nodded and I started off. "He's not a monster. He's gentle and asked me if I had everything I need before he left for the hunt. How is Sansa?"

"She's fine so far. Was there something else he said?", my sister asked back .
"No.", I lied, because I didn't want her to know anything about the kiss. That was something between him and me.

"I asked the queen regent about our wedding. About when it will take place and where. She said after the war against the northern men is won, it will take place. Robb Stark has to die before he can officially make me his queen.", I told them.

"We already knew that. Sansa...the poor child gets one misery after another...", my grandmother Olenna mumbled.

"I believe Joffrey had his reasons, why he did what he did to her family.", I said, followed by silence.

"Tomorrow he will be back and I can already tell you that I'm praying for Stark's death, there is no reason why I shouldn't", I added.
"Young Lady! Enough now.", Olenna put me in my place.
"No! It's good for our family in every single way! I am marrying Joffrey, our houses are united and the North isn't a threath for us anymore. Why have I always been so blind?", I argumented.

"Shut your mouth, right now Lyra. The North is bigger than all the other seven parts of the Kingdom. If Robb Stark dies, no one is there to be Lord of it anymore. Think before you open your mouth, child.",my gran educated me.

"Excuse me, obviously my opinions are less important than everyone else's in this family.", I hissed.

"How dare you speak like that? You're not -"
"I am the queen. I might never be like my sister. But I am enough for Joffrey. And that means a lot more to me.", I interrupted her and left.

I didn't need their opinions anymore, they couldn't keep my in Highgarden anymore.

I rushed away, followed by the quick heavy steps of the guard, who I had nearly forgot when I had the conversation with my family.

Suddenly I heard the sound of a hunting horn getting closer.
I hurried to the gates of the castle, where the noises were coming from and waited.

It couldn't be Joffrey, could it? He had told  me he would be gone for two days.

"Your grace is back. Joffrey of houses....", and from that part on I could've told all titles by heart, so I didn't listen to the man on the horse, who had annouced Joffs arrival, anymore.

A few men were riding in front of the hunting party, until I finally saw Joffrey appearing behind them.

He was riding a pitch-black mare with an easiness that one could think he was practising it every day. I couldn't wait for him to show me how to ride. I didn't know it, because they had me focused on education in Highgarden, not riding. I had also come to King's Landing in a carriage.

Joffrey noticed me after a few more minutes. I smiled at him brightly, remembering our kiss yesterday, the happy feelings covered my urge to find out why he arrived here so early.

"My love, I am so glad that you're back!", I said and curtsied when he stopped his horse in front of me.

But my future husband stared past me. He looked stressed and worried. When I turned around I spot Cersei Lannister, who looked back smiling at her eldest son.

"Is something wrong, my king?", I asked him. He descended from his horse and looked at me. For a second his worries were wiped away, but like I already said, it just lasted for a moment.

He put my hands into his and kissed my cheek shortly.

And the way he looked at me told me that everything was wrong.
