"Happy birthday to you!" All the juniors in your department sang with a few seniors too.
You had a huge smile on your face and a red blush the invaded your cheeks.

Jungkook couldn't help but sling his arms around you and give you a huge hug, "Happy birthday SeolHyun!" He cheered.

"Thank you kookie!" You smiled and all of a sudden the lights went dim and you made a wider smile. You saw at least 21 lit candles coming towards you on a cake. You never dreamt that your life would be this good as a doctor.

There was one person who didn't look as happy as you and the rest did.

"Hey! Come on!" You called, "Come over here with us!"

That person, was the same person who bumped into Jimin, Kim TaeHyung, he got up and walked away in his white coat and tie.

You never thought you'd think of him in away then more than a coworker, but you saw as the sun light lit his face at just the right time, you thought he looked different. Seeing him as a "fancy" was dangerous when it came to your job. You weren't allowed to date a coworker. 

"It won't come to that..." You spoke aloud, thinking it was in your head.

"Come to what?" Jungkook asked with a confused expression smothered across his face.

"Nothing. Nothing."

Soon enough your birthday fun was cut short because of the chairman coming in to say his goodbyes.

He brought the new chairman along with him, telling him about how the surgery department works.

"I got it. When will I see SeolHyun?" The new chairman asked.

"Well today is her birthday and she might be in a surgery but we'll soon find out."

Kim Jieun was the name of the new chair man. The name of your father. He wanted to see you so bad, your mother cut his contact with you after he abused her in a drunken rage. After that, you grew up not needing a father, you where fine. You grew up to be a surgeon, you wanted some elements of your father. You had the same occupation as him.

You where dreading the next few minutes, but, you were a surgeon, your job was to stay calm in any situation.

"SeolHyun? Are you okay?" Asked Choa. She was the calmest she's ever been.

"I'm sure I will be." And with that, you took a deep breath and walked to greet the chairman and your father.

A/n: Wow, 439 words, that's one long chapter.
I'm sorry this is really bad I know my writing shoukd improve and if it doesn't, you can just leave and read better books :)
