I have to run, as far as possible...

I can't waste any second, I have to get out of here as fast as I can... I don't want to go back...

"Where did that kid run off to?"

"He ran into the forest, boss"

"You Fool?! find him quickly. With his silver hair and green eyes, he would fetch a great price in the slave market. Find him quick?!"

"Yes, boss!!"

"We found his footprints boss"

"Track him down! Don't let him out of your sight, or I will take your heads as compensation"

"YES BOSS"

I need to run as far as I can...

I have to run faster...

STAB* Ouch! What the heck. I stopped, my feet were bleeding. Shit! I must have stepped onto something sharp while I was running. Ugh... It hurts so bad.

"Where are you BRAT?"

Oh no, they are coming. I can't stop I have to continue to run. I need to run as far as I Can. Away from this place...I can't go back... no... I won't go back. As long as I'm breathing I will keep on running away from them. I pushed the bushes away from my sight and pushed my way through it with full speed. Prick* Ouch... something brushed over my cheek. I could feel hot liquid over my face. Ugh... It hurts, everything hurts. My body is full of scratches and bruises from running through this forest. It's dark so I can barely see where I'm going.

I'm running away from those people I don't want to go back with them. They are slave traders, I have been sold by them so many times now that I lost count. I don't want to return to that place anymore. That's why I have to get out of this forest, if I can then I'll be able to be free. That's why I have to escape.

THUD... Ouch*... Shit, I tripped over something...

"Where are you, you damn brat?"

GASP* I covered my mouth with my hands out of reflex. How can they catch up to me so damn fast? Their voices are so close. I need to keep quiet I don't want them to know where I am. I can't make any noise I just need to be as quiet as a mouse.

CRACK... A branch...

"I heard something, he's over there"

OH, SHIT!!! They know where I am. I sprinted, I ran through some more bushes. With them already knowing where I am, I don't see the point of hiding so I just ran as my life depends on it. As I ran over another bush, I was surprised to see a small cliff beneath me. SHIT! I stumbled down the slope and fell hard on the ground.

Ugh... My body, ouch... I tried to get up but it hurts. It hurts so much, everything hurts. I can feel tears starting to swell, I felt so exhausted. I just want to be free out of this misery, yet I had to go through this much pain just to obtain it. I hate this, I just want to... NO! I can't... I need to get hold of myself. I can't give up now, after making it out this far. I have to continue on, I tried to catch my breath as much as I can, even though it was getting messier by the second. I mustered every last strength I have and pulled myself up.

I wiped my tears away, now wasn't the time. I need to continue, even though I can't hear them that doesn't mean they are far. I need to hide somewhere. I looked for a hiding spot among the dense vegetation. It's not like I can see anything, while I can't they can, they must have brought a torch with them to help them see in the dark.
