"Ugh, my head." Ivy held her hands up to her head as she slowly sat up. She was in a very soft bed, unlike the one she would sleep on at Arkham.
This last thought caused her eyes to widen as she swiftly looked around her. She was in a familiar room. Purple and green themed.
"Oh crap," she muttered to herself. Of course, she remembered the events leading up to this. He brought her here.
"Now now ivy, mind your tongue. That language isn't very ladylike, now is it?" His voice came from behind her. She turned to face him as he stood at the doorway, leaning against it with his arms crossed.
"What the hell is this, clown?" She asked annoyed.
"This, is payback my dear." He said, slowly waking to her.
"For what?" She asked. He wanted to play with her, fine. She would play along.
"Well," he said sitting beside her, "considering how you worked with those damn guards at asylum, not to mention the Gotham PD, for my arrest..."
Her mouth twisted in a smile. What satisfaction. She had managed to piss him off.
He noticed this and gripped her chin with his fingers. This action caused her to flinch considering he was wearing large gold rings on each finger. "AND you had the audacity to tell them about my secret hideout!" Suddenly he backhanded her, causing her to fall back on the back.
She was stunned but she was also a formidable opponent. And he knew this. She smiled and started laughing. Not only to shake the pain but because she was actually amused by the fact that she had done something to piss him off.
He wasn't happy with her cheerful disposition in response to his ordeal. He grabbed her neck and hovered over her, his face inches away from hers.
"Oh, you think that's amusing huh? You think that's just fine. Give away the jokers hideout, will you? Wellll miss ivy, have I got news for you," he said in a low raspy voice, "this won't go unpunished."
She closed her eyes. "Oh please. Punish is code for something sexual in your sick twisted mind. What do you think got you in trouble in the first place?" She asked fearlessly.
He let go of her neck but his eyes were small now, angry at her audacity.
She sat up and got in his face this time.
"Harley was my best friend and you were not someone I thought was relationship material. You're abusive, selfish, and arrogant. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine what that poor girl saw in you." Ivy said, her voice laced with disgust.
His breathing was ragged, he was losing his breath trying to keep himself from attacking and harming her. She noticed this and a feeling of desire swept through her. Knowing he was terrible, she wanted to have a taste of it herself. She wasn't exactly good either but the way he looked right now, with his dark eyes, green hair slicked back neatly, his exposed, tattooed chest. She quickly snapped herself out of it and continued.
"She told me everything. Everything you did to her. The bruises, the bites and scratches. She gave her life for you! And on the night she caught you trying to get my attention. She still died for you!" Ivy screamed the last sentence. Never had she ever raised her voice, unless in the heat of one of her intense battles with batman. And even then she was far more composed than she was now.
She balled up her fists and slammed them against his chest, tears stinging her eyes. "You're scum...but I....I'm no good myself," she said in a shaky voice.
He grabbed her hair and pushed her off of him, immediately leaving the room.
