Chapter 2 - The Girl With More Power
On Monday, Crystal was currently walking to school when she ran into Tadase. "Oh! I'm sorry Tadase!", Crystal said. "It's okay," Tadase said with a smile. They both continued to walk. Then, Tadase started to remember what Tsukasa said: "According to the legend, another person who has three eggs, has more power than the one who currently holds the Humpty Lock. The person with more power will recieve a Humpty Lock once he/she realizes that they are special." Tadase looked at Crystal and then Crystal looked back. "Is something wrong?", Crystal asked. "Oh! It's nothing," Tadase said, scratching his head with embarrassment. Crystal smiled and walked ahead of Tadase. "She will.."
When the lunch bell rang, everyone gathered at a table and ate their lunch. While they were eating, everyone noticed that Tadase was thinking about something. "Tadase, is something wrong?", Amu asked. "I-It's nothing," Tadase said, continuing to eat his lunch. Everyone had a suspicious look on their faces. "Something is definitely going on" : Crystal thought.
After school, everyone was walking home together. Crystal asked Tadase, "What were you thinking about earlier?". "It's nothing," Tadase said. "We know that you were thinking about something," Amu said. "I-It's nothing," Tadase said, starting to get embarrassed. "We know something's going on, Tadase," Rima said with her eyes like daggers. "Just let us know what's going on, Tadase," Nagihiko said.
After telling them everything, Crystal said, "Wait..what? I'm going to have more power than Amu?". "Yes. Since you are another person who recieved three eggs, you will be twice as powerful as Amu," Tadase informed. "Then, what is a Humpty Lock?", Crystal asked. "A Humpty Lock is a special lock that contains your powers. Also, the lock relies on your Shugo Charas. So, you must keep it with you at all times," Tadase said as Amu showed her Humpty Lock to Crystal. "O-Okay,"Crystal said.
In her bedroom, Crystal lying on her bed, thinking about what Tadase said. "I will become twice as powerful as Amu," Crystal said. "Is this even possible?" "We don't know," Lily said. "What's going to happen?", Crystal said softly. "We don't know," Mimi said. "Whatever happens, everything's going to be okay," Nikki said. "There's nothing to worry about." Crystal smiled at her Shugo Charas, "You're right. There's nothing to worry about." Crystal gathered her Shugo Charas to her chest, giving them a hug.
The next day, it was lunch time and everyone except Crystal were outside in a garden that was at the back of the school. Crystal found them outside. "W-what's going on?", Crystal asked. "Crystal, would you like to be a Guardian?", Amu asked. "Huh? A-a Guardian?" "We would like you to join us," Tadase said. "M-me?". Everyone nodded. "I-I would love to!", Crystal said with a smile. "Her reaction is way different than yours, Amu-chan," Ran said. "Hey! Ran!", Amu said while blushing. "Here is your badge," Tadase said as he gave the badge to Crystal. "Thank you."
Suddenly, Kiseki sensed a group of X Eggs around the area. Kiseki notified everyone,"Tadase, everyone. I sense a group X Eggs!". Amu looked at everyone,"Let's go." Everyone nodded in agreement. "What are X Eggs?", Crystal asked. "You'll see," Nagihiko said while taking her wrist. When they arrived at the location, everyone started to Character Transform.
*My Heart: UNLOCK*
Character Transformation: Beat Jumper
Character Transformation: Clown Drop
Character Transformation: Platinum Royal
Character Transformation: Amulet Heart
Crystal was so amazed, "Wow!" "Stand back, Crystal!", Amu said. The eggs started to shoot X energy.
Tadase: Holy Crown!
The shooting stopped. Suddenly, the eggs started to come together to form a fierce group.
Rima: Juggling Party!
Nagihiko: Blaze Shoot!
The eggs broke apart for a moment, but they came back together. After that, they flew to Rima, Nagihiko, Amu, and Tadase without them knowing, All of them fell to the ground, covered in X energy.
"E-everyone!", Crystal screamed as she ran to them. "Are you alright?" "It seems like these X eggs can remove your energy to fight," Nikki said. "I can't let this battle end this way," Crystal said confidently to herself. She turned to the group of X eggs,"Hey! You forgot about me!". The X eggs started to fly to her. "CRYSTAL!", everyone screamed. Crystal took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and opened them to a shining light in the distance. The light came closer and closer, until she saw an object. It was a sparkling Humpty Lock. "Is this a Humpty Lock?", Crystal said to herself. She reached for it slowly and then catched it.
A shining light appeared. "What is this light?", Rima asked. "Could it be..Crystal?", Amu asked.
