Middle school, in general, is three of the most awkward years of your life. I'm pretty sure no one looks back at the disgusting lunches, different stages of puberty everyone is in, other gender issues ( if you know what I mean...), friendship problems, and just trying to pass pre-alegabra... I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to keep a bunch of teens and pre-teens with raging hormones inside a building together for eight hours, five days a week, while thought useless facts...
But I live in Missouri and in Missouri it's illegal not too...
I'm not sure if every city's school system works this way but where I live, after elementary school you go to middle school for three years. Sixth grade is fun and exciting because it's your first year in a new school with large hallways and more classes. You are motivated to start off middle school on a good note.
Eight grade is exciting because it's your last year. You are the "top dogs". Well almost everyone the "top dogs" in eight grade. Some people (like me) seem to always be on bottom. You get the best lunch tables and first pick in gym. You also have to work alot harder between harder classes, extra drama, and raging hormones.
I have survived the first year. Wish me luck in seventh grade. :/
