"Can you come with me, miss?" The doctor asked. We were at the hospital waiting for the verdict of where we would go. I was thinking orphanage unless one of our relatives were found and contacted. I didn't know if they would take us.
" yes, of course." I replied and followed him to an office. I sat down in a chair in front of his desk and he circled around to his chair, behind the desk.
" so, mrs. Daniels. It's seems that..we have found your dad...."
" he's alive?!"
" yes...well not Claire's dad...he's dead. Your father is not."
" wait...I'm confused.. My dad is alive but Claire's is...dead?"

" I can't believe you!" My mother yelled to a man, as she packed her stuff into a bag.

" dr. Macon office, how can I help you?" He was silent and listened to the man.
" yes Geoff..2...yes....ahh a couple hours...yes...yes she know...the older....yours...the other...not yours... The man that I told you about...yes...okay...one second." He paused and held the phone in his hand, covering the mouthpiece. " do you wanna talk to him?" He asked me.
" yes!" I said excitedly. He handed me the phone.
" ...dad?"
" sweetie?"
"Daddy..." I said, my voice breaking.
" honey! I'm so sorry I left you! I...I didn't have a choice...she..she walked out as she told me....I'm so sorry we had to meet this way." He said into the phone. I could tell he was crying and I was too. After so many years...finally I meet my dad. My real dad.
"It's okay daddy...I know..." I knew he cheated on her. But I thought he was dead.....that's what my mom said.
" baby...I'm coming to take you home...."
" ahhhh! Really?!" I cheered.
" yes!" He said laughing. " I'm bringing your older brother..he wants to meet you!"
" omg! I'm so excited!"
" me too honey! I'll see you in a little while. You and your sister will need to say goodbye."
