So many things to do, it’s already a quarter to ten. Two hours to go. So little tI’me.

I called Maddison the second I got to my room and  told her about my date with Jake. After the initial anger and annoyance she realised how much I desperately needed her and rushed to my rescue.

“I’m so happy you have a date and everything but after this, I’m going to be super pissed and you’ll need to buy me some yogurt to make it up. Now, let’s get to getting you looking like a fucking angel.”

I didn’t know where we were going or what we were doing. So Maddison and I decided that we would play it safe and go with simple jeans and a pretty tee. The top we chose was top was my favourite. It was a white lace crop top. It wasn’t too short though, you could only see my tummy when I stretched a bit; which was fine because even though I didn’t really admit it, I absolutely loved showing off my tummy.

I let my hair down and Maddison put some light make up on my face which made my cheeks look not-so-pale and my brown eyes pop.

Even though Maddison insisted on me wearing heels, I didn’t feel like it so I just wore my converse. However, to make Maddison happy, I changed the laces on it and used the new ones that I had bought a week ago. They were neon green and I thought they were the bomb!  She just rolled her eyes at me. And here I was thinking I was the funniest person in the world. Damn.

“You look so pretty, ohmigod I love you so much! You’ve made me proud today! Even with those ridiculous shoes, i love you!”  she said and then she gave me the tightest hug ever and obviously, I hugged her back, just as tight.

“I love you too, Maddi!”

We hugged a little longer and then suddenly, out of nowhere, Maddi shouts.

“Oh! Oh! Bestie picture moment! Picture moment!” she runs to her bag and pulls out her phone and pulls her phone out and after two sane photos, we’re all about silly selfies. Who doesn’t love tongues out, kisses and absolutely ridiculous face photos? Dumb people. That’s who.

Just when we got to the selfies with my tortoise, my phone started to ring. I ran to my phone and answered it like it was the last call I was ever going to answer.

“Hello?” I asked, huffing and puffing like I had run a marathon right before answering my phone.

“Are you alright? You seem exhausted,” Jake. It was Jake. Ahhhhh.

“I’m fine. Why did you call?”

“I just wanted to see if you were ready yet. I’l be at your house in five.”

“Yes, I’m ready. I’ll see you then?”

“I’ll see you then.”

“Okay, bye”

“Bye lovely,”

“You called me lovely again!”

“That’s cause you are lovely.”

“You’ve already said that before..”

“And I’ll say it again if you ask me.”

“What if I say I don’t like you calling me that?”

“Well I’d stop but that wouldn’t change the fact that you’re the loveliest lovely ever!” he laughed a little when he said this. It made me laugh too.

“Okay.” I said.

“Okay?” he asked.

“Okayyyy,” I said.

“I want to see you, so I’m going to cut the call now. Bye lovely.” I could hear the smile in his voice when he called me that.

“Okay. Bye.”
