My mother was now all over my baby brother, and he was already showing superiority to me, he climbed the mountains I had by four years old, and was already getting really good at everything. It was clear that the inheritance I had been working for would go to him.

I looked around, seeing the red and white costumed person running at super speed in circles around me. Ahh, a speedster have we? Mt mother had taut me all kinds of different situations to work with, and this was one of them. I pointed an arrow, and calculated in my head how long it would take for him to circle once, and using that information I shot my arrow at his feet, tying them up, and stopping his motion.

Once he stopped, I looked at the stunned group in front of me, looking my direction. I quickly analyzed, and seeing that robin was missing, I took a step into the ready stance and looked at the settling dust around me. Suddenly Robin, otherwise known as Tim Drake, ran in with his staff, ready to swing.

I grabbed the stick, and pulled to the side, sending him flying, and leaving me with a staff to fight with. "I am not your enemy." I calmly stated as me and Robin continued to fight. "I may have a bad name on my shoulders but we fight the same fight." As Robin threw another punch at me. I grabbed his wrist, and threw him over my shoulder, as the man in blue suddenly flew in, literally. I grabbed the sides of my cape and they hardened into wings, I let go, and they stayed in place. He flew at me, and I dogged the attack, suddenly feeling a crushing embrace from behind. What has happened to me?! I screamed in my head.

I looked around at the team, and felt something cut off my air supply, and I fainted.

I had packed a few articles of clothing in a bag, and slung it over my shoulder, sticking a dagger into my shoe, and one up my sleeve. "Hey sis." My eight year old brother sat at my door. "I'm busy." "Your leaving." "Your inheriting the ninjas, so why should I stay?" He looked at me stunned, and I walked past him out the door. I knew he wouldn't follow me, he knew there was now point in me staying as well.

I woke up, seeing a white room, and looking at the floor in front of me, I saw my cape, mask, and utility belt. Oh no.

"Hello, Veronica Wayne, daughter of Bruce Wayne and an unknown mother." I cursed them silently, but it came out in full sound.

"Ahh, microphone, nice touch, Tim." I looked up, to see the whole team staring at Robin, giggling. "Now you know how I feel." I told him.

"What are you doing here Dark?" He used my hero name.

"Looking for a quiet place to meditate." I told him the absolute truth.

"Okay, and if your on our side, Dark, why did you keep attacking?"

"Because I'm a trained assassin, and you know what I'm trained to do with the enemy?" They looked at eachother through the large window. "Kill them." I spat.

"Okay, well then, you still didn't say, if your the friend, and not the foe, than why did you keep attacking?" He asked.

I leaned back in the chair. "Because you didn't stop attacking me." I finished, and I stood up having used the talk time to untie the ropes that bound me to the chair. I walked to my mask, utility belt and cape, that were under just enough for the team not to be able to see them. I grabbed an explosive arrow out of my cylinder and shot it at the door, exiting like a pro. There was a red light and an alarm, so I quickly sprinted through the shadows, looking for a control panel of sorts. I place like this has got to have some, kind of locking system.

I ran around a corner, to be met by the backs of two people, so I quietly snuck past to the next door, and that led me to a locked situation, meaning I was stuck outside by a techno pad.

I trudged through the thin layer of snow, looking occasionally to the map held by my frozen hands. I looked in front of me to see Frozen dirt, and some kind of airplane, with a bunch of houses behind it. I went up to the small building with large blue letters saying airport.

I walked in, and gave the man fifty dollars. "Where to?" He asked. "Gotham city." Was all I told him, and I followed him to where I would sit during the ride. There were three rows of two lawn chairs duct taped to the ground, with ropes tied to the chairs for seat belts. Great.
