his words shot through me.

I didn't want to do this now, I looked behind me to see if shawn was watching me, he wasn't.

the man had his phone to his ear.

I stepped outside and closed the door.

" I can't do this now, you need to tell her that tonight will work and I can't change the time." I sternly said.

" she wants to talk to you." he laughed and handed me the phone.

I shapely took it and put it to my ear.

"hello?"

"Anastasia, nice to hear from you. now why can't you come now or during the daytime?"

"it's complicated, but it's something with my dad, I just can't get out today, tonight will have to work" i lied.

"sad to hear it, nine sharp, if you aren't here then we will have a problem, people need to meet you. until then. goodbye Anastasia"

the line went dead.

I handed the man his phone back.

" what's your name?" I looked up at him.

"Sam Wilkinson" he smiled and looked me up and down.

my face scrunched up in disgust.

"I guess I'll be seeing you tonight ?"

"indeed love, until then." he walked down the driveway to the gate and hopped it.

"what's up with the ' until then ' thing with them? " I said under my breath.

I turned and opened the dark glass door and walked in , closing and locking it.

" baby? who was that man" shawn's head popped out from the piano room door.

I sighed and slid down the door until my bottom touched the ground.

I outstretched my legs and crossed my arms looking at shawn down the hallway.

"one of Linda's friends" I laughed.

" Ana you-"

"shawn , I know you know I am meeting her tonight. I am going. you won't stop me. nothing will happen, my dad has a small pistol that I will hide in my waistband and I'll be fine. I need to go. this needs to end"

" you could get killed ! " he yelled while walking towards me.

I just sat there, looking at the marble tile the lined the downstairs of my home.

"it needs to happen shawn. I need to do this. you need to stay here. you'll be safe here. " I weakly smiled up at him as a tear rolled down my cheek.

I haven't been with Shawn for a long time but I can't help but to feel major feelings for him.

I remember seeing him from the coffee shop window and I immediately fell in love. I can't describe it but I really love his goofball.

" Ana." he bent down and put his hand under my chin to force me to look at him, he had tears down his cheeks.

" I love you shawn" I cried grabbing the back of his neck to hug him.

"I love you too Ana." he sniffled into my hair.

we just sat there crying to each other.

by the time we stopped my eyes were red and puffy.

"let's go get your things" I smiled at him.

he nodded and got up holding his hand out for me.

I grabbed it and walked towards the garage.

my keys and wallet were on the table by the door.

I grabbed my phone out of my waistband and put on some black sandals.

"Ana. you still have your pajamas on" shawn laughed.

"I don't care. let's go"I smiled and threw my hair into a messy bun.

he smiled and kissed my lips.

" you look beautiful"

" and you look handsome" I laughed and opened the garage door.

" what car?" he asked.

I pointed to a black bmw.

we got in and drove to shawn's house.

we got out of the car and walked hand in hand up to his door.

he lived alone.

he unlocked the door and I walked into the living room.

"hello , Anastasia"
