Archie: Back in Riverdale

The Archies are back

Archie was sitting at a table at Pop Tate's when Jughead walked in with a big, strong looking man.
"Archie!" Jughead ran over with the man and they both sat down. Archie couldn't help the smile form on his face,
"So this is your husband?"
"Yea! I finally know why I always hated girls." Jughead kissed the man on the lips gently.
"Sorry Jug, but we all knew you were gay." Archie started laughing as Jug rolled his eyes.
"This is David. David, this is my best pal, Archie."
"Nice to meet ya Archie!" David had a great handshake and Archie almost felt scared. David was definitely stronger then Big Moose. "So how did you two meet?"
"I was at Granny's Diner, it serves the best food!"
"And I was cooking. I was told that he wanted to see the cook so I went out to meet him."
"I fell in love with his food and when I saw him! Wow!"
"Awww you're so sweet my little Juggie bear!" Again Jughead and David kissed, they looked adorable. After a few more minutes, Betty walked in and smiled when she saw Archie and Jughead. She walked over and sat beside Archie,
"Hey Juggie! Who's your friend?" She smirked and winked. Jughead rolled his eyes and smiled,
"So everyone knew I was gay but me?!?"
"Yea pretty much." Betty and Archie both spoke at the same time.
"Whoa!" Betty jumped a little bit and held onto Archie's shoulder.
Jughead jumped from his seat, he always felt the need to protect Betty after all she was like a little sister to him,
"Betty?!?"
"I'm ok Juggie! Just baby kicks." She smiled sweetly. David awed at her big belly,
"Oh I just love children!!! Congrats Betty!!" He smiled from ear to ear.
"Thanks..." Betty held out her hand. David gently shook it and nodded,
"David. David Jones."
"You two are married?!? Awww my Juggie is married!!" Betty got up and hugged Jughead and started crying happily.
"Whoa! You ok Betts?" Jughead rubbed her back.
"Yea just, ya know, pregnant." She let out a little chuckle and sat back down.
"I know it's not my place but when did you two get together?" David put his arm around Jughead and listen like a small child hearing about Santa Clause for the first time.
"Well I was dating her and Veronica all throughout school. But one day I was staring at Betty I realized that I loved her more the Veronica." Archie turned to Betty and kissed her. Betty smiled into the kiss before continuing the story,
"We decided to get married a year after school. Now we're expecting. The doctor said twins!!" She smiled wide and cuddled into Archie as his arm wrapped around her,
"I love you."
"I love you even more my little carrot top!"
"Aww you two are soooo cute!" David cooed.
Reggie walked in and smiled smuggle,
"Did I hear carrot top's name called?" Right beside him was Veronica who giggled as they sat at the booth next to them.
"So I was right? Jughead is gay!"
Reggie chuckled as he said gay.
"We all knew Reggie." Veronica smiled and shook David's hand.
"David!"
"Veronica! The pleasure is all mine."
"Wow! If I wasn't gay I would totally date you." Everyone laughed expect Jughead, he sat and pouted.
"Oh baby! You know I was joking. I'm in love with you and nothing could change that!" David once again kissed Jughead but this one was deep and passionate, everyone awed when they pulled away.
"Ok I believe you!" Jughead nodded and looked like what Archie used to look like when he got kissed.
Pop walked up to them and smiled,
"The gang is back! Welcome home guys!" He hugged everyone and brought over 39 cheeseburgers.
"Wow you all eat a lot!" David looked at the food and smiled but suddenly frowned when they shook their heads except Jughead, he was stuffing his face.
"Mmmmm I've missed you Pop!"
"I've missed you too Jug."
David looked amazed,
"How do you stay tiny?"
Jughead shrugged and continued to eat.
David laughed and talked with everyone. He was definitely the woman in their relationship, it was super cute.
"So David, what do you do beside being a cook?" Betty asked happily. David nodded and smiled,
"I lift weights, as you can see I'm built up quite a bit." Everyone was laughing mostly because it was true.
"I've also gotten my PhD. I love painting and cooking for my Juggie bear!" David kissed Jughead between his bites into the last burger. Jughead smiled into the kiss before continuing to eat. Reggie nodded,
"Wow a PhD! What is it for?"
"I'm a therapist. That is if I chose that career. But I love food even more."
Everyone smiled and nodded. Reggie spoke out,
"So what is everyone else doing?"
"We're expecting twins!" Betty looked down at her stomach and smiled. Archie took a French fri and smiled,
"I'm running my own inn! It's a small little thing right outside of town but it's cozy."
"Great job Archiekins!" Veronica patted him on the back.
"Me and Reggie are working for my father at one of his big businesses in Japan. Just yesterday I got Bill Gates to sign with us and become a partner with us! Do you know how much he makes?" Veronica raised an eyebrow and smirked as Reggie kissed her cheek.
Archie looked at his friends and his smile only grew,
"I can't believe we're only spending a weekend together! I don't ever want it to end!"
They all hugged and spent the rest of the day talking and telling stories from their years after school.
