Jermaine's POV
I woke up the next day to the sound of my alarm going off. Melody was on my mind heavy and I couldn't wait to get to school and see her beautiful face. I fell asleep before I got a chance to call her like I said I was last night I hope she's not mad at me. I went to the bathroom and did all my hygiene stuff before going into my Dads room to get the iron. I knocked first knowing that if I saw him in there with one of them Bar Hoes that I'd be traumatized. I pushed the door open when I didn't get an answer to see him knocked out cold with what had to be every type of liquor bottle and beer can you could name all around his bed it had to be like 20 of each. I checked his pulse to see if he had finally drank himself to death, sadly he was still alive. I grabbed the iron out of the top of his closet and went to iron my clothes. Afterwards I got dressed grabbed my keys and headed to school.
When I walked in class I saw Melody in the back Left corner of the class And Cozz One row ahead of her Texting on his phone. I took a seat next to her.
"Hey Melody" I smiled at her
"Hey J" She blushed quietly
"Sorry, I didn't call you last night I went to sleep" I said partially telling the truth
"It's ok , I did too after my shower." She Replied
"So You took a shower ? .. Without me ?"
"Bye J " She said looking around to see if anybody had heard me
After my conversation with Melody I had finally Acknowledged Cozz "Wassup Bro "
"Sup G " he replied extending his fist out for me to dap
Melody laughed "What's funny " Cozz Asked her. "You guys are so corny and you have a bromance"
"Cozz know I love him" I said earning a look of disgust from Him. "Nah I don't go that way Gay-J , only person I love is Ari " he said without even realizing he just confessed his love for my sister. " I KNEW IT !" I yelled out and he looked at me funny "I knew you loved her !" He continued mugging me. "Man shut the hell up" He said before Mr.Pelzer walked in. "Listen up class. I've decided that this whole week will be working together with chemical reactions. I want the same groups from yesterday I think you guys worked very well with Eachother. Group 3 I want to see you guys after class I really liked your group effort yesterday" ". Ok" we all said in unison.
I went up to get the stuff recalling Cozz almost setting us on fire yesterday while everybody got into groups. When I got back to the group I saw Melody looking upset. "What's wrong I asked" "Just tired" she replied. I nodded understanding and asked if she wanted me to drive her home after this period. She shook her head yes and I made her put her head down for the rest of the class and I think she drifted off into sleep. Mr. Pelzer came over and saw me and Cozz mixing chemicals and Miya Recording The information again and shook his head in approval before he noticed Melody "Is she ok " he asked "No she doesn't feel Good" I replied "ok make sure you tell her I hope she feels Better when she wakes up" he stated simply before walking away. I looked over at Cozz who had an unreadable expression on his face "Yo You Good?" I asked with concern in my voice. Cozz was my brother and if something bothered him something bothered me he was always there for me so if he needed me for anything I wouldn't hesitate. "Yeah, it's just Ari, I really like her maybe even love her but I don't know how to tell her, I'm scared of commitment and hurting her" he said earning a look from Miya the girl he was flirting with yesterday but surprisingly she didn't say anything. "Well if you like her let her know that,you know she like you too but don't commit to her if you know you gonna fuck it up, you know Ari Like my sister and I don't wanna have to kick yo ass ,talk to her and see if she willing to work something out with you." I answered truthfully he nodded understandingly "Thanks Bruh" the bell rang and he dapped me up before I got out of my seat to wake Melody up. I shook her a few times and she rubbed her eyes. I held my hand out to her, she took it without hesitation "Mr.Pelzer wanted us" I stated "Hello Mr.Pelzer you wanted to see us" Cozz asked Politely walking up to his desk making me and Melody bust out laughing "Oh yes but I forgot I had a meeting and I'm running late so catch me after class On Monday Morning" we all nodded and I walked Melody to my car.
