The next day...
I pushed through the school door with a pissy attitude. I'm not feeling for nobody's bullshit today. I have to deal with my own anyways. Tell me something... does a 17-year old girl like myself should be this stressed? I need to focus on myself a little more often. Otherwise... I'm bound to explode!
As I walked down the hallway, I see my boyfriend talking to his crew. Oh how I want to slap the jersey off of his dumbass. He looked my way, smiling. I glared at him, rolling my eyes as I walked right pass him. Usually, when I am mad at him, he would go after me. Why hasn't he done it yet? I turned around to see if he's budging. AND HE'S NOT!! He's still talking with his buddies. Ok... fuck you too.
I made my way to my locker when I spotted Chelsea heading towards my way. She looks afraid. "Hey, Chels. You ok?" I asked though I'm not in the mood to hear her daily problems. "Uhhh, y-yeah. I'm fine." she said. Her voice is rather shaken when she spoke. "Whoa... it looks like someone or something spooked you out. Are you sure?" I asked being a little concerned like a friend would.
Chelsea suddenly started to sob, sliding down to the floor. "I don't know what to do, Y/N." she cried. I kneeled down, confronting her. "What are you talking about? You can tell me." I said, rubbing her back. She exhaled shakenly as tears rolled down her face. "I'm pregnant." she whispered.
Pregnant? Holy shit. I don't know if I should congratulate her or tell her how fucking stupid she is. "Oh, wow! Chelsea... that's um... quite the surprise." "Oh shut up, Y/N. You probably thinking in your mind of how fucking stupid I am getting knocked up." she sobbed. She knows me so well. "That's true..." "Gee, thanks." she cut me off. Ok... I hate when people cut me off, but I am going to let that one slide since she has bigger problems than I do. "I wasn't done. I was going to say that we make mistakes and we can learn from them." I explained.
Chelsea looked me in the eyes. Her own eyes were red from her crying. "I'm too young to be a mother. What am I going to tell my parents? How my father going to disown me when he finds out. I don't want to be in this predicament." she fussed. "At the end of the day, you will find a way to manage it. In the mean time, does Chad know?" I asked. Chelsea shook her head, no. "No... and I don't want him to." "Why not? He is the father of your unborn child right?" I asked.
Chelsea gave me a blank stare. From there I knew. "Chelsea? You cheated on him?" "We were on a break. At first I thought it was over between us. So I hooked up with this other guy. But a couple days after, Chad came knocking on my door asking for my forgiveness. Thus the reason why he gave me this bracelet." Chelsea said. This girl, I swear.
"Well my advice to you is confront the guy you hooked up with. Then tell Chad." "NO! I can't. He'll be devastated." she cried even harder. "You have to! Otherwise someone else would then the whole school will know. You know this school is too damn small to keep secrets." I bluntly said. Chelsea has no other option but to tell both guys about her situation. "Ok...." she said quietly.
"Good.. now we have to get to class." I got up from kneeling down, dusting my outfit. I helped Chelsea up, embracing her. "You're going to be ok." I said. Chelsea sniffed, nodding her head. "Thank you for being a great friend." she said, sincerely. "You're welcome. Now, off to class."
As were walking arm to arm, Michael came up to the both of us. I'm actually happy to see him. "Hey, Michael." I greeted. "Hey.... Y/N? Is this the same Y/N who can't stand me? Hey, Chels." "Hi, Michael. I'll leave you two at it. Thanks again, Y/N." Chelsea said, walking away.
Just me and Michael. Alone. In a big ass hallway. "So.. about the project." I stated. "Yeah... listen. I don't think we should be partners." Michael confessed. "Wha-what? How come?" I asked rather upset. "You said it yourself we don't like each other. And I, too, want to get a good grade. I think it's for the best." he said. Ok... since when did you started to listen to me?
"Michael... I know we had our differences in the past. But let's just focus on now. I am willing to have a decent partnership if you're willing." I said. Michael thought about for a bit, licking his lips alongside. I couldn't help but admire how incredibly good-looking he is today.
"Alright... deal." he said. "Great!" I cheered. Suddenly, the second to last bell rung. "We gotta go!" I said grabbing his hand, running to our first period class.
