I heard Alex calling Y/N's name down the hall. Considering I'm his homeboy... I don't think I should be leaning in to kiss Y/N. Then again.. he's a total asshole who I barely speak to. So.. I'm going to enjoy my almost kiss with her before she notice. Three... two... one.
"Oh, my God!" Y/N gasped, pushing herself back. Told you so...
"Baby?! Where are you?! I wanna talk." Alex shouted. Y/N started to panic. Getting up from her seat, she gather her things away from mine. Speaking Gibberish to herself... while myself is just enjoying the view of her sudden panicking. "This is pretty funny." I said, laughing. Y/N glared at me with her beautiful yet killer eyes. "Uh... I'm in here!" she said. Whelp.. it was fun while it lasted.
Seconds later, Alex showed up.. not really happy to see me. "Hey, babe.... Mike." "Alex..." I smirked. "The hell do you want?" Y/N interrupted the awkwardness in the band room. Alex walked towards her, grabbing her hands. The sight of it is making me sick.
"Baby... I want to apologize for everything. I've been an ass to you and you don't deserve that." "You're always apologizing, Alex. You know you don't mean that crap. I don't even know why you're here." "I'm here to get my baby back. Let's just work this out. I'll take you to dinner. That Japanese restaurant you've been wanting to go." he said. Like food would help the relationship.
"Really? You would that for me?" Y/N asked, getting all soft and fragile. This is fucking hilarious... manipulative... and stupid. "Anything for my babygirl." he said, placing a kiss on her cheek. I rolled my eyes, annoyed.
The school bell rang, letting us know it's time for the next class. Luckily, I have another free period. "Shit... I gotta go. Michael, can we finish up later after school?" she asked, looking uncomfortable. "Might as well since we were interrupted." I howled. She sighed, gathering her things. "See you later. And I'll see you at dinner." Y/N kissed Alex before running out the room. Hopefully Alex would leave, too.
"Hey, man. Can I have a word with you?" "Ok..." I said, not giving him any attention. "It's about Y/N. People said you walked her home, yesterday. Then a few hours later... she came to your house." he explained. Why is he concerned about what I do with his girlfriend? Oh, wait... never mind.
"Yeah.. we were discussing about our project." I said, not giving a damn about what other people think. It's between me and Y/N. "Are you sure that's all? Cause I would hate to know if there's something going on. I mean, you're my bro.. but that's my girl. And she comes first."
"Your 'bro'? When was the last time we hung out? When was the last time we talked?" "Look, Mike. She doesn't want you. Ight? She got me. You had your chance... and you failed. Let a real man handle this." Alex is full of shit right now.
"A real man shouldn't let his lady walk home, alone. A real man should know how to respect others. A real man knows when and when not to be an ass towards the people his lady associates with. So.. what makes you a real man, Alex? Hmm? Cause I see nothing but an asshole in my face."
"Better watch what you say, Jacko. Don't want to Joe on your ass." Oh.. so this dick wants to bring up my no life of a father into this? "Unlike you, I have respect for myself. And better class. And better judgement. Now, here's what I would like for you to do. Leave. And this so call friendship is dead like your football and basketball career combined."
"Ok.. I'll go. But stay away from Y/N. She's mine." Alex argued.
"That's a promise I can't keep cause we're partners. Deal with it."
