He Can Still Love (Darth Vader × Reader)

Chapter 9

I was nervous and excited for what was to happen. We walk down to to hangar, my dress flowing behind me.

We reach Vader's new jet and he gives me his hand to help lift me up. I smile.

After some time, which might have been about 20 minutes. And I'll add filled with silence we stop.

I look at Vader with a waiting face.

Like magic, a huge window opened to reveal a billion of stars and colorful planets.

I gasp. "This is so beautiful!"

You look at him. He takes your hands.

"Nothing is as beautiful as you are, my love " he says.

I feel the blush crawling up from my neck to my face.

"T-thank you." I manage to say.

He let's go of my hands, "let's have dinner."

We eat a large dinner.

Alfredo pasta and mixed vegetables. And expensive wine form Italy, Earth.

But I didn't touch the wine, I get drunk very easily.

"Darling, drink some wine, it makes the dinner better." He says.

Whatever, I get drunk, I get drunk. What can I do?

I take a sip of the wine. But I feel something touch my lip from inside the glass. I put the glass down.

I make a confused face at him and he simply shrugs his shoulders.

I take a fork and try to take whatever was in the glass out.

I feel it and pull it up.

I gasp, "Oh my god!"

It was a ring.

I turn to Vader, I gasp again.

He was on one knee on the floor.

"That the hell!" I say.

He takes the ring from my hands.

"(F/N), I have loved you since I first saw you." He begins, "You gave me hope and love. This is all I can ask of you." He stops.

"(F/N), will you have the honor of being my wife."

My heart stops.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh my god! Why would I say no!" I scream.

I put out my ring finger to him, he gently slides the ring into it.

I jump and hug him as hard as I can.

This was crap but who cares. I smiled as I wrote it.
