Underestimated

Chapter 6

Anne's POV

"Oh my God!! Pein!!!" I ran towards her.

She's panting. Catching her breath. Oh God. I promised myself, this will not gonna happen again.

"Pein, can you hear me? What happened?" I confusely asked. I viewed the surroundings only to found out that we're the only ones left here.

"Hold on. I need to call some help." I said in panic voice. My hand is trembling as I reach my phone at my side pocket. I dialed her number.

"Hel--" I cut her off.

"We need your help. Are you alone? Superior's in peril." I uttered as she answered the phone.

"What!? Why?! Yeah, I'm alone. I'll wait for you here." She said worriedly.

"Okay. We'll be there in a minute." I then hunged up

I looked back to Sean. Damn

"Sean, Sean" I said while patting her cheek but I failed. She's not opening her eyes.

"What to do?" I asked myself in frustration. I searched the key of her car. Immediately, I  found it.

I put my right arm to her back head and the other to her thighs. I carried her in bridal style and bring her in her car.

As soon as I put her in a comfortable position, I quickly head myself to the driver's seat and start the engine. I drove the car as fast as I can.

We arrived at the boarding house in a minute. I swiftly carried her again and brought Sean to her. My hand and frontier of my shirt are now filled with her blood.

"Gosh!! What happened?" April's forewords.

Without her consent, I walked in and put Sean on the couch.

"I'll tell you later. First aid, please."

She ran towards her first aid kit closet.

"Sean, please!! Why you didn't call me?" I asked her as if I'm talking to a concious Sean.

"Hey Anne. Please move, let me do this."

"Sure, please." I said pleading.

"Don't worry. Ev'rything's gonna be okay. I know Sean will surpass this, again." April uttered. She pick up the scissors and cut the end of Sean's shirt. I turned my back and walked away from where they are. I went to the terrace, I don't want to see what April's gonna do.

I need to find that bastard who did this to Sean. They don't know who they just messed with.

April's POV

I'm April Kelley. Taking up Medicine course. I lived in a boarding house together with Tin, but unfortunately I'm alone by now cause she decided to go home for its weekend.

I was watching some movie when I received Anne's call telling me that Sean's in peril. I was so shocked. Why? Why and who did that to her? These are the questions in my mind.

I quickly got up from the bed and waited for them. After waiting for a minute, I saw a car parked infront of our boarding house. I opened the door right away.

I asked Anne what hapenned but she didn't say a thing about it. I understand, she really is worried, so do I. It's just like a deja vu.

I checked her wound on her flanker. She probably stabbed by a knife or something peaky. It is not that gash but she lost some blood.

I cleaned her wound. I put gauze to prevent the blood flows. After I finished treating her, I get one of my shirt in my drawer and wear it to her. She's okay now. I sighed in relief. I put a blanket around her body. She'll probably wake up tomorrow.

After cleaning her wound, I went directly to Anne.

I found her sitting in the chair at the terrace. She noticed me.

"How is she? Is she okay?" She asked worriedly.

"Yep. She lost some blood but she really is strong." I said smiling, to lessen her anxiety.

"Thanks God. I thought---"

"Nahhh, she's okay now. No need to worry, alright? I think we just need to protect her very well this time." I said, cutting her sentence.

"Yes, we need to. Can you do me a favor?"

"Sure. Anything"

"Can I stay here for the night? I want to look up for Sean."

"Yeah, sure. You're always welcome here." I said smiling.

"Thanks, April. This is the least I can do to Sean." She then walked towards my position and hugged me. I hugged her back.

"This is the least we can do for her now. Don't worry, she'll be fine as long as we are here." I said while we're hugging. Just then, I felt my shoulder getting wet.

I released from the hug only to found out that she's crying. I hugged her again.

"Shhh. Everything will be fine. This will not gonna happen again, okay? Hush, Anne." I comforted her. I felt her nodded yes.

I don't want to see them in this situation. I want to protect them especially, Sean.
