Normal day, huh? Nothing could go wrong, they say. I was in my bed listening to music,when suddenly my mom came in.
"Honey, the breakfast is ready." I removed my white headphones from my head.
"Yeah,I am coming." I was about to leave my room, when I saw Maya. She was sitting in my bay window. She tapped her fingers in the glass, making it sound like she was knocking the door.I opened the window and asked her.
"You know that the window was open, right?"
"Yeah, but why open it my self when you can come all the way here from the door, and simply open it for me?"I let out a small laugh.
"So,you ready,Riles?"
"Yeah, let's take on the world"
"Wrong, let's take on high school."
We both laughed.
While we were leaving from the bay window my mum screamed to us.
"Girls,don't you want breakfast?"She asked.
"No, we are good."
"Yeah we will be fine, Mrs. Matthews."
We left from my room and we walked to the subway.We hoped on a train.The ride didn't take long.Two minutes later we arrived.
"So, Riles I have to go to my locker, to decorate it."
"So that's the reason we got here 30 minutes earlier."
"Yes,and plus this the first day of high school and we get to choose lockers."
"Oh yeah!"
"Okay so I gotta go now riles." She said while walking away.
"Save the locker next to yours,for me!" I said slightly screaming.
"You got it!"
Maya then was lost from sight of view.I was walking to the hall that leads to my class. But then Farkle came to me with a worried face and turned me around.
"Hey Riles, long time no see!" He said
I think that something is up.
"What y' talking about Farkle? We were together yesterday."
Something is definitely up.
"Look, Sunshine, I know everything about your life, right?"
I nodded.
Where was this going?
He continued.
"And you trust me, right?"
I nodded again.
"Look I believe that what you were just about to see, would have ruined your day or your high school experience."
"Nothing is gonna ruin my day Farkle"
I said while turning around.
"I mean what could possib-"
I was cut off by what I had just seen.
"Oh."
I just stand there and stare at her for about a minute.
"I am okay Farkle. You can go to class."
She was talking to a teacher with long blonde hair.
"Are you sure you are okay?" He asked
But then the teacher left.
And she just turned and looked at me.
"Yes, I am fine. Now go to class" I demanded.
She walked into a classroom.
As soon she left,I started to walk slowly away.
I then found myself to the girls bathroom.
I walked into a toilet and then locked myself into it.
I then let my tears out, crying quietly.
Then I heard footsteps coming close to me.
Then a knock on my door.
"Riley, Rileybear, Riles, Sunshine, it is me Farkle. Please let me in"
"Or come out"
I unlocked the door and hugged him.We sat on the floor.
I was crying and he was comforting me.
"What is she doing here, Farkle?"
"I don't know honey,but we will figure it out"
