Walking up the stairs to the house, with Daniela just behind was weird. It's only me and Mathew are the only two who that come here. I'm not worried or anything, it's just weird. Unusually really.

It still amazes me how she a will always open the door before I knock, even when I don't tell her I'm coming.

"Dexter, so good to see you, and you brought a friend. Good, good. Just wait in the living room." She says while pulling me into a hug.

"So where's this girl we're seeing?" I flop on the couch and look up at Daniela.

"Who do you think we're seeing?" Curiosity shown in my voice, she didn't even ask who it was, just that it was a girl and then she wanted to come.

"I'm not sure, your girlfriend?" She states while smirking. "I've always wondered if you had one. A bad boy like you is bond to have someone, right?"

"Sorry to disappoint but no. We're here to see Ann. Grandma Ann." I laughed at her face. It was priceless. Wide eyes, mouth open.

Daniela glances around the empty room the whisper-yells at me. "You brought me to meet your grandma? Why?"

Just then my grandma walks in carrying milk and cookies. God love her.  "Dear, I didn't catch your name on the way in."

"Oh.. Umm, I'm Daniela, I'm just here because Dexter is going to help me with my math after." She hurly said, like she though my grandma would jump to another conclusion. The conclusion she had the moment Daniela said her name. Girlfriend. Not gonna lie, I tell my grandma everything, even who I have a crush on.
I am probably the biggest nana's boy in the history of the world. I would do anything for her.

"First he's fixing my car, then he can do his boyfri-" I gave my grandma a 'don't say it' look, making her fix what she was going to say. "His friend duties."

"Well I'll leave you ladies to talk, I have a car to fix." I kissed my grandma on the cheek grabbing two cookies and a glass of milk.

"Leave now and I might just show Daniel your baby photos." My grandma yelled as Daniela said "who knew the bad boy had a soft spot for their grandma."

"You do that grandma, and no one really knows me at all Daniela" I flash them a smile as I go to fix the car.

----------------------------------

It took two hours, not to fix the car but to get Daniela to leave. Yes she saw baby photo and home videos. She know pretty much anything and everything I did when I was young and also the last thing my grandma said of course. The thing that's making this trip back to somewhere we can study awkward. 'Oh and Daniela, my grandson there likes you, he told me himself quite some weeks ago.' I could do nothing to stop it. So yeah.

"I don't do high school heartache, it's pointless. It never lasts... Look just drop me off here I'll find someone else to help me."

I pull my bike to the side of the road and let her slip off. People really are something.
