(Winter Soldier P.O.V)
When we landed back at the hydra base, I knew I was in trouble. The guards and the pilot seemed to know too, as when I stepped out of the plane the pilot walked past and wished me luck. I smiled sadly, we both knew I had to have more than luck to escape my punishment. I walked through the base until I came across the office I had been summoned to. The name on the door read "Dr. Cooper" So that was his name, I thought to myself. I walked inside trying to push down the fear from within him.
As soon as I entered my heart sank,the tall man I now knew was named Cooper, looked up from sharpening his knife with a glint to his eyes and a smirk on his lips. "Come sit down soldier, we need to talk" He said so softly I could barley hear, even with my enhanced hearing. I stood still not wanting to sit. "I said sit!" He shouted so loudly it made me jump, I quickly sat opposite him. Coopers expression changed back into the calm state it was at before, honestly I preferred it when he was shouting- this was creeping me out. He stood and began circling me while i sat in this chair, I stared straight ahead not wanting to show him how much he was scaring me. "Well I really must say,Soldier" He spat the word. " I was rather... Disappointed.... When I was told of your failure" he grabbed by shoulders making them bleed under the pressure. I winced, he continued "But lucky for you i'm a generous man, so I have decided to let you live... That doesn't however mean you will get away without punishment..." He smiled wickedly, " No I won't kill you I'll just make you wish I had killed you" With that I was knocked unconscious and was faintly aware of me being dragged to a room and locked into a chair.
