Poem 4 - Lies

This is for my sanity.

As the heat enters my body, the little sanity I possessed evaporates with the liquid that held lies and deceit together. For ultimately that was what I'm made of. In order to compensate for what I have lost, I spew more lies, small ones, to cover the parts that managed to escape. Moments when I have lost too much, I utter, ever so softly, the biggest lie that needs no help at all...

I. Don't. Love. You.
