For you. - Katlego Joy Molokoane

Your existence makes me think of conversations between God and the universe. Whispers to create the earth. Hushed tones to create night and day, land and the oceans, and ultimately you. It had to be you that He made first. Every organism had to be from you. I don't know how to explain how you ended up here and now. Most things that were made to leave people in awe are better unknown. However, I somehow know you. Our souls vibrate at the same frequency. My bones separated from yours in lifetimes before, only to be reunited once more. I cry when write this, with some difficulty breathing because I know I can only inhale what you exhale. Oxygen is merely a substitute for you. Until then, I will breathe ragged breaths. I will do so till I am allowed to be with you. To be home, and let all that fought to find you, to rest.
