A Few Years Later

Mark's P.O.V.

Today was the day I was going to do what I've wanted to do for years.

After the battle we had won quite easily, (Y/N) and I moved in together. My YouTube career shot up and now I have a little over fourteen million subscribers who I deeply love and admire. We got a nice house in LA that had a beautiful view that overlooked the city. Sandy was quickly forgotten about until I mentioned her just now.

Who even knows where she is now, she's probably a stripper, or maybe she's working for the CIA and is tracking my every move right now as I'm saying this.

Dan and Phil have gotten into difficult situations since Dan is a demon and Phil is an angel. But above all else, they still love each other and got married just a few months back. The wedding was amazing, they had Chicken, Chinese food, Pizza, you name it. The ceremony was quite boring, but they supplied good food.

I was broken out of my thoughts when (Y/N) jumped into our pool in front of where I was sitting. I smiled slightly and swam towards her and grabbed onto her waist and kissed the back of her neck.

"Hey, I have a surprise for you later. But you have to be ready in about thirty minutes." I said and she turned around at the speed of light with a scared look on her face.

"I ONLY HAVE THIRTY FREAKING MINUTES TO GET READY?" She practically yelled.

I chuckled slightly, caressing her shoulders and kissed her forehead. "Okay, you have one hour starting now."

She kicked me in the stomach thinking it would speed up the process of getting out of the pool. I smiled and wondered,

How did I get so damn lucky.

I got out of the pool and went to our room, to which I was immediately pushed out of with a "You can't look at me you need to be surprised." So I got my clothes and got ready in the guest bedroom.

I put on a pair of dark blue jeans and a blue T-Shirt getting the casual look going on.

"Oh and (Y/N)? You have to pack too. We're going on a plane and staying at this place for a week."

I practically heard her scream in horror and shock. I heard footsteps to see a wild (Y/N) with her hair curled and makeup halfway done.

"What the hell are you planning?" She asked smiling a little.

"Just go pack you sack of chickens." I said smiling and shooing her out of the room.

Once she was finally done, I locked the door behind me, making sure I still felt the velvet box in my pocket and left the house, getting an Uber to the airport.

We got to the airport and finally got through security, (carefully explaining the ring to the security officer) we saw Charlie. He looked happier I've ever seen him before with some guy across the Starbucks table having coffee. I smiled a little and kept walking, not wanting to ruin anything with that relationship or get him pissed at us again.

It was about a three hour and thirty minute flight when we finally arrived to our hometown. (Y/N) looked happy to finally see the town she grew up in again, I guess we both were.

We met up with Bob and Wade at the airport and talked for a little bit but I explained to them both my plan and they both shooed us away.

I rented a car for us to use and drove us to where I had planned to go in the first place.

We pulled in and instantly (Y/N) got really confused, didn't know what was happening. But I knew exactly what was going to happen and she was going to love it.

We got out of the car and went behind the school where the playground was. I instantly felt nostalgic looking at it. The slides, the tire swing, and The Swing.

I took her hand and led her to The Swing and let her sit down on it. I sat on the one next to her as I started talking.

"You know, do you remember that one day you suggested we play tag? I thought, 'Well she's so cute I might as well play with her.' Of course some kid hit me and I fell down this very hill." I said laughing at the memories.

"Yeah, that day scared me a lot, I didn't know how to react and felt like it was all my fault." (Y/N) said looking at the wood chips scattered across the playground.

I stopped my swing and got off to hold her hand.

"But you do realize what that caused? Our first kiss. You were the first person I kissed, (Y/N). And that holds a special place in my heart. Hell, you were even my first girlfriend. I just love you so much I just can't imagine my life without you in it." I said tearing up a bit, but shakily getting down on one knee and getting the black box out of my pocket.

"(Y/N), will you do the honor, of being my wife?" I said, opening the box that held a diamond ring.

I saw her eyes light up and tears start to fall just as quick. She put her hand over her mouth and shake her head continuous times.
"Yes of course you salty potato." She managed to say.

I smile and stood up as she did the same and kissed her passionately. Both of us crying as we separate and smile, looking into each other's eyes.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."
