Jennifer's POV:

I walk away from Harry's ignorance and find myself in the kitchen raiding the cabinets.

"Hungry?" I can practically picture the smirk on his face right now.

I ignore him and continue to look through the cabinets, but it's useless.

The only thing that is even remotely edible is cans of black beans.

I shake my head in disgust. I'd rather starve.

"We can go shopping and get some food." He suggests.

I furrow my eyebrows at his kind offer.

After a few seconds of bewilderment, I shake my loose curls,

"No. It's okay, we'll be leaving tomorrow anyways. There really is no point." I shrug my shoulders near the end.

"Actually..." He lingers the word. I lean my head forward to signal him to continue.

"We'll be here for two weeks."

My jaw partially hits the floor, and I fumble backwards in confusion.

"Two weeks? What? Why?" Question after question escapes out of my mouth.

"Two weeks here. Why? Because there was a slight change of plans, no worries." He exposes his deep dimples and carelessly plants himself on the couch.

"What do you mean? What's the plan now?" I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but I need to know. I have to figure out what's going on.

He pats the seat next to him, and I hesitate for a moment before walking over to him.

I slowly sit beside him.

"What's the plan?" I repeat my question.

"Apparently the man had a few changes in his schedule."

"Like?"

"Like that he couldn't pick you up on the set date, and he asked me to keep ahold of you for an extra two weeks. We accepted, and he fucking sent us this address. It's a small town in a middle of shit nowhere, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't even have internet which fucking blows." He clicks his tongue and lets out a sigh.

I can't help but giggle at his vulgar vocabulary.

"Now what are you giggling at?" I can tell he's trying to be stern, but his slight smile gives him away.

"You!" I laugh even louder and lean my head back on the couch.

"Fuck, shit, fucking shit fuck!" I try and imitate his low voice, but remarkably fail.

His laughs fill the entire space, and for a second, I almost forgot where I was and who he was.

His laughter is so beautiful and soothing to my ears, I wish he'd laugh more often. It's so much more different than his voice. His laughter is higher and softer, but still as slow as his speech.

"Shut up!" His cheeks glowing.

"Shit Jennifer! There's no free wifi here! How the fuck am I going to play candy crush? I'm on fucking level 71! I'm so fucking bada-"

I'm unable to finish teasing Harry when his body pounces on mine and tops me on the couch, playfully.

"I said shut up!" His attempt to scare me only makes me laugh more.

He soon quits his act and begins to laugh along.

"I love your laugh." I say without realizing it and hastily cover my mouth with my hand.

He mumbles something to himself, but I can't quite understand him.

"Hm?"

"Oh. Nothing." He hops off me and goes into our- my room.

As I wait I mentally slap myself for blurting that I love his laugh out loud.

If Niall found out...

Harry interrupts my thoughts as he jogs out of the room waving his hand around.

I realize the hand he's waving has something in it.

"What's that?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"My wallet. Let's go shopping." He smiles and awaits at the door till I arrive there with him.

"Do you even know if there's a store here?"

"Yeah, of course." He acts as if it's obvious.

"I thought this was in the middle of nowhere." I remark.

A flash of emotion comes across his face, but he whisks it away too fast for me to comprehend what it was.

"I asked him where a store was at." His voice shallow.

I open my mouth to protest, but stop myself when I realize it's better to stay quiet.

He closes and locks the door behind us. I trail him to his car.

He opens my car door first, a gesture that surprises me. I thank him and climb into the vehicle.

"Harry." I break the silence when we're on a rocky road.

"Yes?" He glances over at me, then back to the road.

"Don't tell Niall what I said." I don't want Niall finding out what I said, especially not from Harry.

"What?" He almost laughs.

"About me saying I love your laugh. Please, don't tell him." I bite my lip out of habit.

"That sounds like more of a demand than request."

"It is."

His hand on the wheel tightens, and his knuckles begin to turn white.

"Don't Jennifer." He warns.

"Don't what, Harry?" I know he won't hurt me so his threats don't seem to frighten me.

"You don't know when to-" He cuts himself off with a sigh,

"Fine. I won't tell anyone. Now, let's forget about this and go to the store."

"Thanks Harry." I say and mean it.

"Yeah."
