Jack hit the record button on his computer, starting in with his high five and yelling out. "TOP O'THE MORNIN TO YA, LADDIES! AND WELCOME TO A GAME CALLED 'HACKER'. Now this was a game that was requested for me to play. I have no clue what it is about, but I'm assuming I play as a person trying to hack into shit. So, let's get into this".
Jack stood before his computer, his eyes glued to the screen. He hadn't been too far off from what he had thought it was. His character was sitting at a computer in a house at night, and his goal was to hack into different sites and steal there secrets. All the while trying not to get hacked himself. Jack bounced nervously before his computer, telling the camera. "Oh, I don't like this! I should have played this in the morning! Cause I'm literally playing a character, who is home alone playing on his computer in the dark"! Psyching himself back up, Jack focused harder on the game. He had managed to hack into three sites already. He had to hack into ten in order to unlock the special ending. It was going easily enough, but creaking noises in the characters house was putting his teeth on edge! They sounded so real, that he couldn't tell if they were coming from his house, or the games! Taking a deep breath, he tried hacking the next site, but it required him to fill out a long letter combination and the sudden sounds of something moving in his characters house made him panic! Instead of completing the combination, Jack exited the hack to glance around his characters room. The window had opened! Jack began to bounce again, yelling. "OH GOD! Some thing managed to get in the house! Could I have stopped that"? He leaned back over his keyboard trying to click the window in the hopes that it would close back up, but it didn't. Instead, a small box screen popped up with a loud cackling noise as it chimed out. "You've been hacked! You've been hacked"! Jack jumped away from the computer, knocking his headphones off his head and slamming his back into the wall beside him!
Clutching his heart, Jack spit out bitterly. "DON'T DO THAT TO ME! Ah, my poor heart. That got me good. That was loud"! Bending over, Jack picked up his headphones and slide them back over his ears. Clicking the repeating message, he read aloud for the camera. "Your system has been hacked by B.Y-Genius. All your computer data has been copied. GAME OVER FOR YOU". Jack looked up at the camera confused, adding. "So... I haven't been taking the data from their computers but copying the fil-". Jack was cut short by his computer suddenly freaking out! The screen went into rapid flashes of data codes and static, while the words 'Game over' flashed in bright red! Jack stood frozen watching the screen, mumbling to himself in terror. "Oh please don't crash my computer. Is this part of the game"? The screen continued to spaz out a moment or two more before going black. Jack tapped buttons on his keyboard, trying to figure out what had happened. After a time, Jack had fetched more coffee and figured it out. The game had exited him and his computer had somehow shut down on it's own. Pulling all his files back up, Jack told the camera, a little shaky. "Sorry about that. The game seems to be set so that when you get hacked, it fakes a hack and shuts your computer down. That is an annoying side effect. I'm going to try it one more time. This time I am going to ignore the sounds of the house and see if that is a secret trick to win. Cause it was the sounds that made me panic, but nothing seems to jump out and get you. So my guess is that it is set that way to freak you out enough to allow yourself to get hacked".
Jack took a large gulp of his coffee, quickly jumping back into the game. He hacked into five sites and no matter how intense the sounds got, nothing ever seemed to happen. So, Jack just kept playing on to the end. When he hacked the last site successfully, his character exited his computer screen and just sat there. Jack raised his hands in confusion, asking the camera curiously. "Soooo... what is the special ending? That you win? That can't be right". Jack leaned back over his keyboard, turning his character to see if the room had changed in anyway. Only to scream at the top of his lungs and jump away from his computer, when he spotted a dark figure standing silently next to his character! Slamming his fists against wall, Jack screamed out. "JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! What the fuck"! Turning back to the camera, Jack breathlessly said. "How long was that guy there?! Maybe I should have paid attention to the-". Jack stopped short, as he noticed a weird reflection in his dark computer monitor. Slowly turning around, he stared at young man of about eighteen or nineteen.
Jack swallowed nervously, glancing around the room for how he got in his house, before asking. "What are you doing here"? The young man crossed his arms, giving Jack a sour look as he said bitterly. "You invited me". Jack took a step back toward his computer, trying to discreetly find his phone as he replied casually. "I don't think so. I don't know you". The young man glanced down at his watch a moment, before answering. "Of course you do, Jack. I'm your biggest fan after all". Jack slowly slide his phone off the desk, trying to make light of the situation by cheerfully saying. "What do you want? A picture? An autograph"? The young man unfolded his arms, replying a little creepily. "Why would I want those, when I can have you"? Jack lifted his phone quickly to dial the police, but the numbers all seemed to blur together. Jerking his head up to look at the young man in shock, the young man grinned widely telling him. "Didn't taste the difference in the coffee did you"? Jack slumped to his knees, and kept his eyes on the young man, until his world went black. To Be Continued...
