Jack couldn't breathe.  He had thought he was safe... but it seemed he just changed one captive for another.  Jack couldn't believe this.  Twisting his wrists hard against the gurney restraints, he kept his eyes locked on Mark.  Mark shook his head with a smile, telling him casually.  "It gets harder every time. The more famous you get... the more people I have to get rid of. This little pest however managed to slip by me".  Mark took the katana off his shoulder with a heavy sigh, adding in a grumbling voice.  "Now I have to clean this mess up... I hate this part".  Jack continued to try and twist his wrist free, while he cleverly tried to ask.  "You know, Mark... You let me out of this and I can help you"?  Mark turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow, as he blushed out his answer.  "Oh? That's sweet of you, Jack, but I'd rather not get those beautiful hands of yours covered in this assholes filthy blood".  Jack tried to flash him a fake smile and yanked harder on the restraints.

Mark dropped the katana and took hold of Billy's wrists, dragging him out of the storage units door.  From the loud banging he heard outside, Jack guessed he was stashing Billy in a garage can?  Jack bit his lip hard to counter the pain as he pried his wrist free.  It hurt him to do it, but it had worked and that was all that mattered.  Jack reached for the I.V. first.  He had to get that out of his arm.  Carefully, peeling off the tape that held it in place, he pulled the needle free with a wince.  Then he quickly went to work unbuckling his other wrist restraint.  The second he let it fall from his wrist though, he froze.  On the wall a shadow had appeared.  From the large doorway behind him, Mark told him calmly.  "I'm sorry about the way you were treated. He really went about all this the wrong way. It was like he didn't love you at all".  Jack slowly sat up, reaching for one of the leg restraints, while answering just as calmly.  "Ya... What was he thinking".

Jack tried to hurry as Mark walked into the room to pick up the katana again.  He didn't seem to mind that he was trying to escape... and that made Jack even more afraid of him.  Why was he acting so calm?  Acting as if nothing was happening...  Jack yanked the last restraint free and dropped his legs off the gurney stirrups.  Jumping slightly as Mark reached out a hand to help him.  Jack blinked in confusion, but shakily took his hand.  What was Mark doing?  Didn't he want him like Billy had?  Mark helped him off the gurney, his eyes drifting down over the wedding gown with disgust.  Jack took his hand back from Mark and covered his chest with his arms, asking a little self-conscious.  "Don't look at me like that. I didn't put myself in this. What's your excuse"?  A smirk spread over Mark's face as he answered unashamed.  "It's comfortable and breezy. Where THAT mess your wearing... he gave you. I don't like it. I don't want you in it anymore".  Jack huffed loudly, answering bluntly.  "Well, if you've got something else for me to slip into then I will. Otherwise, I don't plan to freeze"!

Mark glanced around for a moment, before gesturing to the cabinet on the far side, saying simply.  "I'll bet he put your clothes in the drawers there. Wait here".  Jack wasn't sure he should... but other than the fact Mark had killed Billy and called him 'His Senpai', what had he done not to be trusted?  Mark was his friend.  Maybe he was just acting normal?  Or 'his' version of normal anyway.  Mark came back holding his folded clothes with a smile.  Jack smiled back at him.  At least he could get out of this awkward dress!  Grabbing the torso of the dress, Jack pulled at it until something tore away.  Then he just pushed the whole thing to the floor and stepped out of it.  The cold air hit him the second he left it and he shivered, but he didn't care.  He would quickly slip into his clothes and be gone from here!  Moving closer to Mark, he reached out to take his clothes... when Mark took a step back.  Jack shivered again, telling Mark sharply.  "Mark, stop it! I'm not in the mood to play games"!

Mark's face was unreadable.  Expressionless.  His eyes lowered to the clothes he held and he extended them out to him.  Jack carefully reached out and took the clothes from Mark.  Setting them on the gurney, Jack started to dress.  Pulling on his jeans first.  Only when he was fumbling with the zipper, he noticed Mark out of the corner of his eye.  Like a hovering dark shadow.  Mark was watching him.  Cautiously turning his head, he asked Mark nervously.  "Mark? Something wrong"?  Mark didn't answer him.  He just slipped out of Jack's line of sight.  Jack finished with his pants, falling completely silent.  Mark's behavior was starting to worry him.  He didn't even know where Mark had walked off too.  Had he gone outside to give him some privacy?  Carefully taking the rest of his clothes off the gurney, Jack made up his mind just to leave.  He didn't want to be in this place anymore and Mark was just acting too weird for him to handle right now.  A side effect of being a prisoner, maybe?  Was his mind just making Mark out to be creepy?

Either way, he needed to get out.  Find some where to relax and take in fresh air.  Clear his head.  Turning around, Jack jumped back into the gurney, screaming out.  "GAAAA! SON OF A BITCH"!  How long had Mark been standing right behind him!  Taking in deep gulps of air, Jack weakly dropped his clothes to the floor, panting out bitterly.  "What the fuck, Mark! DON'T DO THAT"!  As Jack straightened back up, he noticed something in Mark's hand.  It looked like a small bottle.  Mark didn't hesitate, he reached out to cover Jack's mouth while holding him firmly in place as he brought the small bottle just under his nose.  Jack held his breath, struggling a bit against Mark's grip.  He couldn't back away because of the gurney.  He couldn't breath out of his mouth because Mark had it in his firm grip... and the more he struggled the more he needed to breathe!  Jack couldn't kick Mark... he was too close.  So, he tried pushing Mark's hand with the bottle away.

When he thought it was far enough away he took a breath and regretted it.  It didn't matter that he had pushed his hand away... Mark had expected that.  Mark had coated the back of his hand with the stuff.  After a moment, Mark removed his hand, telling him in a soothing voice.  "It's going to be alright, Senpai. I won't let anyone take you ever again".  Jack felt so dizzy that he had to use the gurney for support.  The floor seemed to roll like ocean waves.  What the hell had he drugged him with?  Shaking his head to desperately clear it, he started to stagger toward the door.  He just had to get outside!  He could Make it!  Mark wasn't even trying to stop him!  Staggering just outside the door, Jack felt like someone had pulled a rug out from under him and he was falling in slow motion.  His senses felt dull and far away.  He expected to hit the ground face first... but fell against something warm and strong instead.  He'd just rest here a moment.  He just needed a quick nap.  As his heavy eyelids closed, he heard a voice that sounded so far away, telling him.  "I've got you, Senpai. You're safe with me".  To Be Continued...
