Jack couldn't take his eyes off the sunglasses as he asked Billy, shakily. "Where did you get those"? Billy raised a curious eyebrow, answering uneasy. "McDonald's? Do you not like them"? Jack shook his head, pointing to the 'Ass Ass' glasses on his head. Billy reached up to pull them off his head, replying drearily. "Oh... They came off him". Billy gestured to the other cage disinterested, before piping up cheerfully. "Come on over. It's no fun to eat alone". Jack's throat felt dry as he stared at the man laying unconscious in the other cage. Was that really Mark? It couldn't be... Mark was safe in L.A.. A loud metallic 'BANG' burst from his cage door and he jumped in surprise. Billy had struck the cage hard with his hand and was giving him a stern look. When Billy seemed sure that he had his full attention, he told him darkly. "It's rude to ignore me. I wouldn't do that again. There is nothing in that cage that needs your attention right now". Jack was sure it was the wrong time to ask, but he couldn't hold himself back from asking. "Is that Markiplier"? Billy's eyes narrowed sharply. Jack could tell that something was eating this kid. Did he hate Mark? In a quick effort to defuse the sudden thick tension, Jack asked him with forced chipper. "I'm just curious. After all, you brought me here to be alone with me, right? So, why bring him here"? Billy's mood instantly changed. Smirking, Billy told him shyly. "It was just suppose to be you... but while you were knocked out... you got a text. To my distaste he decided to come visit you today. I tried to tell him it wasn't a good time, but he was already on the plane. So, I improvised". Jack had to force himself to breath. There was a plus and minus to this. Markiplier wasn't someone who just goes missing. So, their chances of being found just doubled... but on the other hand, that meant they were in more danger. Shakily pointing to Billy's bleeding lip, Jack asked cautiously. "Are you alright"? Billy quickly used his shirt sleeve to whip the blood from his mouth and nose, before replying softly. "I'm fine. I got Mark to believe that I was a neighbor of yours that you sent to pick him up... but things went sour when I tried to drug him. I didn't know his mother was a nurse... If I had, I would not have told him the pills were for motion sickness. I should have known that he'd read the stupid engraved pills. I told you someone is always getting in our way". Jack shivered, but not from the cold. This kid was creeping him out. What if the food he was trying to get him to eat was drugged? How long could he go without eating? Billy caught him staring at the hamburger and gave a soft chuckle as he said. "You think I did something to it? I don't need to do that now. I've already got you where I want you". The smell of the food was making his stomach ache, but he was too scared to go anywhere near Billy willingly. Sure, he was just a kid... but he had already proven that he wasn't to be underestimated. Billy held out the burger a little closer to the cage, trying to sound comforting as he told him. "Here. Don't be afraid. I don't want to hurt you, Senpai. I want to take care of you". Jack found himself on the edge of a dilemma. If he chose not to eat, then Billy could get angry and lash out. If he took it, he ran the risk of being drugged. Deciding that he'd rather be drugged and stay in Billy's good graces. He slowly reached out of the cage to take the burger from Billy's hand. Just as his hand touched the burger, Billy's other hand cupped over the top of his tenderly. Half expecting to loose his hand, Jack flinched but kept his hand steady. Billy's warm fingers stroked the back of his hand as he told him in almost a whisper. "If you want anything, Senpai, just let me know. I want to make you happy". Jack could only nod his head. He could almost guarantee that being set free was not an option. So, he tried something small in the hopes of building a stronger trust. Taking the burger from Billy, he asked nervously. "A drink"? Billy slipped another fry into his mouth, before jumping to his feet and heading off outside. Quickly while he was away, Jack checked the burger with a sigh of relief. Nothing out of the ordinary. A few bites in, Billy came back with the drinks, chiming out. "Good thing you said something. I had forgotten to get them from the car". Billy sat back down, holding up the drink up to the cage and extending the straw out for him. Every part of his body screamed at him not to... but he leaned in closer to drink from the straw. Afterward, they ate in an awkward silence. What did this kid expect from him? As far as he know the only thing they had in common was him! Finishing up his burger and sick of the silence, Jack asked Billy. "What will you do with Mark? Since you didn't plan on him being here". Billy turned to stare at Mark's sleeping form, replying a little weirdly. "I'm going to make him watch". The hairs on the back of Jack's neck stood up. The way Billy had said that was creepy. Swallowing the sudden large dry lump in his throat, Jack asked anxiously. "Watch what"? Billy's head slowly turned to lock dark eyes on his, smugly telling him. "Us". Jack felt light-headed all of a sudden. So, he scooted to the far back of the cage to steady himself. Billy's attitude had changed so suddenly... like before when he had been distracted by Mark. Jack wanted to lay down and fall asleep... but he shouldn't feel that way. Shaking his head in the hopes to keep himself awake, Jack struggled to focus long enough to ask. "You drugged the drink didn't you! You said you didn't have to anymore"! Billy leaned in to grip the cage with a wicked smile plastered on his face as he answered. "The good Billy didn't lie to you. However, you're not here because of him. You're here because of me". Jack was having trouble sorting out what Billy was saying, because his mind was beginning to go blank. He just felt so tired... but it sounded like he was implying that there were two Billy's? A soft buzzing noise echoed in Jack's stuffy ears... When did the cage door open? He tried to focus, but his body was going numb. Through clouded eyes, Jack saw Billy's face before his. Billy grinned, whispering something that Jack didn't catch. The last thing Jack saw and felt was Billy's lips pressing against his for a brief moment, before it all went dark. To Be Continued...
