Chapter 5: The Set Up/ Good Gone Bad!

Rue milian

I sat right across from Taylor giving her a look with my finger pointed at her. I was trying so hard to at least get her to confess her feelings for Rocky.

"I know your ass likes Rocky, why are you so scared to tell the nigga?"

I laughed and shock my head finally placing my hands back on my lap.

"Cause... " Taylor said.

"Cause what Tay?"

I was waiting for her answer because she was totally avoiding my question by acting shy which she was no where near.

"Cause, I dont think he likes me like that girl." She said with a frown on her face.

"Girl, Rocky literally just told me that he likes you but he thought you wouldn't like him either! So see yall two just need to talk, so you better call Rocky now and let me know how it goes alright Tay?" I smiled swatting my right hand motion for her to shoo and do as I said.

"Alright Rue, I'm nervous but I'll call.. and thanks for everything." She said leaning over giving me a hug and heading off my porch and to her car.

"No problem girl, you better go and call ya boo" I shouted after her and laughed. Now I had to give Lloyd a call. This was my last set up and then I was done with match making. This was tiring.

"Hey! So wassup?" I said once he answered the phone.

"So does Jordan really like me?" He asked not even saying hello back. This man was so sprung.

"Yess man, thats all she talks about is you. So do you like her?" I asked.

"Yes, i really do."

"Well you better call her boy, and listen if this does work out you better not break her heart cause i will beat that ass." I laughed but I was also so serious.

"I promise you I will only rock her world." He sung in my ear through the phone.

"alright, alright man to much information. But just hit me up later." I said scrunching my face up at his statement still in disgust.

"Alright later." He said as he quickly hung up.

Rocky

"Hey Rock!" Taylor hugged me as soon as we met a few inches towards one another.

"Hey girl, so wassup?" I said pulling my black mask up a bit over my nose.

"I need to get this off my chest."

Taylor said with a sigh swaying side to side. I could tell she was very nervous to say what she wanted to get off her chest.

"Girl you can tell me anything." I smiled reassuring her just to ease her to just let it out.

"Alright, I like you... And I have always liked you a lot and I wanted to know if you feel the same way?" Taylor finally blurted out before covering her mouth realizing she said it all in one breath.

"Girl, I like you too. I mean I hang out with you mostly everyday and I can trust you. You are different from them other girls, and I care about your feelings too. I'm not on that fake shit so I'm keeping it G with you. Do you want to be my girl?" I asked her catching her off guard for a second before she cleared her throat.

"Yes, I would love to be your girl!" Tay smiled in relief with a mix of happiness.

"And to think I've waited years for this too happen." I said as I moved closer to her.

"Oh really? I would kiss you but I want you to earn that.. plus this virus is preventing that too." Taylor smiled shrugging her shoulders and gave me a hug making sure her mash was still covering her mouth and nose.
