Violet lifted a paw and slashed at a black tom's flank with razor sharp claws. The tom barely flinched and tried to leap on top of the she-cat. Violet quickly jumped out of the way while skillfully slicing his other flank.

"I thought I taught you better than that Eclipse! I can't believe Marsh actually promoted you over Timber!" She jeered and swished her dusky tail. Eclipse snarled at Violets words though they were true.

"I thought we were trying to teach the trainees." He spat back. "You're lucky Marsh isn't here. He would have punished you." Eclipse flicked his tail over to the direction of their camp.

Violet purred in amusement. Marsh would never do anything to hurt her. She knew how the leader felt about her and regularly used it to her advantage. Ever since the two of them met he had been mooning over the gorgeous silky black she-cat.

Violet just smirked. "If anything Marsh would punish you for not properly showing these cats how to dodge an attack. I was actually showing Moose, Ella, and Riko how to avoid getting hit by slow mousebrains like you." She cackled and looked over to the trainees who where laughing along with her.

"Shut up!" Eclipse hissed. He turned and stormed off into a juniper bush that led to the two-leg place. Blood was still dripping from the tom's flank as he fled.

"Anyways... It looks like I'll have to show you trainees how to fight while Eclipse the hothead goes and tattles on me." Violet giggled again, addressing the snickering trainees, "This first move will help you to defeat the mouse-brained SwiftClan cats."
