Red was taking lead, Ross following close behind with suspicious eyes. To Ross, everything is a danger, not everyone or undead, EVERYTHING. Ross over the years has come to find that the crew had always been able to do the impossible and no, that's not a good thing entirely, right now. Why? Because that means one of two things. 1) Survival with the upmost ease or 2) They all die in the first hour or so. That being in his mind, Ross took inventory of their surroundings. it was dense with woods and a river was nearby, but so was a huge house. Of course he didn't know how long it had been apocalyptic, therefore he made a rough assumption that they were somewhere in Atlanta City? If he was right they were somewhere near Georgia at the very least. Ross was intellectual and very easily caught on to things that were in his environment, in his environment was Jin and Sky. An aspiring ingenious scientist and a curious multi-billionaire experimenter. He was far from stupid, but he was naïve at times and when it wasn't he made it seem that way. Ross knew that his intellect would be brushed off due to his bubbly and childish personality, so there was no point to showing it off, in his eyes. The only ones who knew of his intellect was Max and Red. Ross told Max, but Red knew because of some spontaneous outbursts. Whether it be remembering things from months prior in detail to randomly finding the solution to a problem no one else could solve. Heck, Red remembered he saw Ross in a magazine for an all too successful business! Red was very aware of Ross's smarts and was glad to be paired with him, knowing they'd get out of a sticky situation quickly. That reason made Red confident and at ease.

They finally made it back to the house they had passed and Ross looked at it skeptically.  Red on the other hand was eager to scavenge and practically threw himself through the doors. Ross grabbed onto his hand and pulled him back causing Red to look back in confusion, looking between his hand and Ross.

"What? Aren't you going to come in?"

Ross sighed and let go once Red had faced him. He had to remind him, that alone bothered Ross.

"Remember what Max and Sky said? We don't know if a lot are in there. They said to be careful."

Red rolled his eyes as he spoke.

"Yeah, they also said don't stop at the huge house and there's no reason to raid it, but look where we are now!"

Red made a wild gesture at the house. Ross found it odd that Red's whole demeanor was playful, not even the daredevil Barney was that excited when we came here. As Ross saw a change of color in his outer view, he pointed at the second floor window.

"Up there, something just passed by that window."

Red looked where Ross pointed and saw someone pass by again, looking at him in apparent fear. They moved quickly away. Red looked at Ross, who had apparent fear on his face. Ross questioned.

"That's not a zombie, is it?"

Red shook his head and saw the fear and panic set in on Ross's face. They both had a similar fear of humans in this world. You can just kill a zombie, no use in fear of what you already know. But people, they are complex, they adapt even at the mercy of hell. So they both feared confrontation with an apocalypse-made monster of a man. Red wasn't going to let them panic though, they had a mission and it was pretty clear there was a dependency on what they brought back. They could make this ordeal really easy for the group or very hard.

"Ross, let's go in. They looked afraid, maybe we can spook them or befriend them or something."

Ross stared back in awe.

"Are you crazy? Do you want a confrontation? I don't."

Red looked at Ross with a fiery determination in his eyes.
