As I scanned through my photo album of all my memories, a few tears started streaming down my face. Going to school all the way in Canada was a decision I didn't want to do, but I had to. I know what you're thinking, why would anyone have to? Well, actions come with consequences. I fell in love with my best friend. So essentially, I'm running away for a few years. No harm done. I'll get over him and everything will go back to normal. I will definitely miss him and his three best friends. They're like brothers to me. "Ce?" A voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked up with tears in my eyes. "Lukey." I smiled, stood up and hugged him. I cried into his chest. "You don't need to go." He said as his voice started to crack. I have to. "I want to." I said pulling away and wiping away his tears with my thumbs. "You do?" He asked. No. "Yes." I replied smiling. "Then whatever makes you happy." He smiled back and then we cuddled for the rest of the night.--------the next day--------
"I'll miss you CeCe." Ashton said hugging me. "I'll miss you too Ash. And you Cal. And you Mikey." I said hugging all three of them. "Sorry Luke couldn't get here." Cal said. "He said it would just make it worse." Mikey added. "No I, uh... I get it." I said looking at them with tears in my eyes. They looked at me sadly, before getting distracted by something behind me. They smiled. I turned around and there stood Luke, tears streaming down his face. Seeing him crying made me cry. I dropped everything and ran up to him. I ran into his arms and just cried. I could hear his cries and his heart beating at the same time. "Please don't go." He whispered into my ears. "I need to Luke." I whispered looking down at our feet. He lifted my chin and stared into my eyes. "Fine. But please don't forget me CeCe." He said. "Never could, and I never will. Besides, I'll see you in a few years." I smiled at him. He smiled back. "Boarding for flight 247 to Toronto, Canada." The speakers rung through the airport. "Well, I should get going." I said softly. He just nodded trying to hold back tears. I leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Goodbye Luke." I said, closing my eyes as tears began to form in my eyes. He kissed my forehead. "Goodbye Cecelia." And with that, I was gone.
