"I had to leave." Replies Kite.

"That is not an answer. Come on Kite, tell me." Pleas Evelyn.

"I told you. I had to leave. My father made us." Replies Kite.

"But why?" Says Evelyn.

"I don't know." Kite was starting to get angry. Evelyn leans back on her chair. Kite was looking down with his eyes closed.

"I'm sorry Evelyn. I shouldn't have left without telling you." Says Kite.

"You're forgiven. But, did our friendship mean anything to you?" Asks Evelyn.

Kite looks at Evelyn suprised.

"Of course it did. And still does. Everyday I think of you, my best friend. And only friend." Explains Kite.

"Kite."

"Lets eat. It looks delicious." Says Kite.

Evelyn smiles. They dug in and ate every last piece. After they finished eating and laughing, Raven and Dan came in.

"Who wants dessert?" Asks Raven.

"Sure." Says Kite.

"Ice cream, cookies, brownies?"

"Um.. what ever." Replies Kite.

"Evelyn? Do you want dessert?" Asks Raven.

"Sure. I'll have ice cream." Replies Evelyn.

Raven scoops out 2 bowls of ice cream for Evelyn and Kite.

"There you go you 2. Enjoy." Says Raven. Dan sat down in a chair next to Kite. The 3 of the them started talking and laughing.

Finally, it was late. Evelyn and Kite walked to the front door giggling.

"I'm glad I got to talk to you." Says Evelyn.

"Me too. I wanted to explain my actions of what I did." Replies Kite.

They leaned closer and hugged. They let go. Evelyn opened the door.

"Bye Kite." Says Evelyn.

"Goodnight Evelyn. Lets go Orbital." Replies Kite.

"C.. coming sir." Says Orbital, coming out of the house. Orbital turned into a flying machine and Kite took off. On the walkway was Yuma and Tori.

"Oh no." Thought Evelyn. Kite was still in perfect sight, so Yuma could recognize him. Yuma looked up.

"Hey Evelyn!" Shouts Yuma, running over.

"Uh, Yuma, where are you going?" Asks Evelyn.

"Home. We just came from an awesome place to duel." Explains Yuma.

"Cool. Um.. it's getting late, so I want to get to bed."

"Oh okay. Bye." Says Yuma.

Evelyn shut the door as nicely as she could.

"That was weird. I wonder what's wrong?" Asks Yuma.

"Maybe you can ask her tomorrow?" Suggests Tori.

"Yay." Says Yuma. Curious about what might be wrong.
