Miki's POV

We were resting down because Mikan got hungry and Anna was serving us her 'delicious' pie. I was eyeing the pie that bubbling like some poison chemicals. Mikan was saying that it looks delicious and I did not want her to eat that but I didn't want to hurt Anna's feelings either.

When I got a slice of the pie, it made me lose all my appetite. I watched as Natsume eyed his slice with disgust. I somehow need to stop Mikan from putting that into her mouth. I was cut of my thoughts when Mikan was suddenly splashed with tea. I turned to see that it was Natsume who did it.

"We're going." He said as he left the table while holding onto my hand. I felt sorry for Anna who worked hard on the pie even though it looked poisonous. Mikan was yelling at Natsume behind us but then a senpai explained that the flour she use was expired a hundred years ago.

I was glad that I didn't eat it. We then went ahead of Ruka and Mikan as they stayed behind. We came up to a booth where Perv-sensei was wearing some kind of weird outfit advertising about offering free teleportation service. Somewhere along the way, Mikan and Ruka caught up.

We decided to ride it with Mikan and Ruka on a broom and me and Natsume on another. Natsume was sitting behind me while we were heading to the Latent Type area. Everything looks so fun and interesting that my eyes were sparkling a little. I never seen a festival before.

As we were walking in the Latent class area, Frankenstein appeared before us holding a haunted house sign showing the way. They should really put more effort into it if they are trying to scare us. We walked past the person dressed up as Frankenstein and headed towards the haunted house.

We stood in front of a creepy house. We were greeted by Class Rep running towards us happily as a couple just came out frightened. As Class Rep opened the door, I started to get a bad feeling in coming into here but I ignored the feeling as something else.

We walked for only a little while and Mikan starting screaming. I was trying my best to calm her down from she was still afraid of ghosts. Every sound that was heard, she freaked out about it.

Natsume and Ruka were before us with Natsume having an annoyed expression of Mikan's screaming. I held onto her while she was clinging to me so she wasn't screaming anymore but was still shaking and whimpering.

As we continued walking deeper into the haunted house, we met an old lady that was obviously set up to scare us.

"Could someone...please carry me on their back and take me over there?" She said as she pointed right. We just left her there and ignored her but Mikan was worrying until the old lady started to crawl after us.

We started running away from the old lady with Mikan screaming loudly than ever. As we were running, we lost Mikan and Ruka along the way. I wasn't looking where I ran when I turned around to look if Mikan and Ruka are anywhere in sight.

I bumped into some kind of statue that was about to fall unto me as I was still dizzy from the bump in the head. I realized to late when the statue got close and Natsume shielded me with himself. I saw that he hurt his ankle when a part of the rock from the statue landed on him.

"Natsume! Daijobu?" I asked worriedly as I grabbed his leg and quickly heal it  with my Alice. As I was doing that the walls on four sides started to lock up up and I gotten scared. She remembered how she was used to be locked up when they kidnapped her. She eventually escaped but the nightmare still haunts her when she trapped in a room where she can't get out.

I started to shiver from fear and brought my knees together as I put my head onto it and hugging my knees. I was remembering all the things that happened when I was kidnapped and what they did to me.

"I'm sorry....I'm sorry...don't hurt me...don't hurt my family..." I kept chanting these words to myself. Forgetting everything around as everything looked black and dark and I'm lost in the darkness.

Natsume's POV

When Miki just finished healing me, the walls of all four sides started to close down and we couldn't get out. I then noticed Miki hurled up into a ball apologizing and saying not to hurt her or her family.

I tried to calm her down but as I reach towards her, she flinches and apologizes again. Small tears were coming out of the corner of her eyes. Seeing this hurt me very much, I wonder what made the cool and collected into this. This is the first time I saw her cry and I don't want to see her in pain again. I need protect her.

Without much thought of what to do, I held her into my embrace while stroking her back to calm her down. She stopped shivering so much but she was holding tight onto my shirt, not wanting to let go.

I pulled her closer towards myself and let her lean onto my chest. It was making my anger boil as I saw the state Miki was currently. I was angry at who hurt Miki before and what exactly happened in her past to make her like this.

As she slowly clams down and come back to reality, she hugged my tightly and gave a small thank you and soon fell into slumber. I held onto her with her body against me and her head resting on my shoulder. Whatever happened must have exhausted. I sat there and waited until Ruka, Imai, and Polkas opened an entrance for us.
