From Above

Andrew and Ash's bright green eyes lit up with excitement. Their brown hair rumpled from sleep. The boys run to go get Tori and Madelyn.

You see in the new town we're in has working electricity. A month after the killing all electricity had stopped working. We would have checked it out yesterday but we were all exhausted from the day on the road.

Dylan our leader (who we found with the half of our group now) told us we should rest and jump on the search later. I still remember the day we found the six teens huddled up in a convinence store. Us six immidentaly took them and showed them how to pack and travel lightly and how to survive.

So, now me, the twins, Madelyn, and Tori are going to search the town. You can see everyone is excited to find out who is the person or people that are hiding in this town so, they can join us. You know traveling with a bigger group is the safest way to travel.

We split up in two groups - the twins and tori and madelyn and me.

As me and Madelyn walk by a house we hear a big crashing sound from indoors. I run up to the door and I look through a crack in the door. I see a teen about 17. He had long black hair and brown eyes. As I slowly push the door open the teen whirled around with a knife in a defensive position as if he were to strike at any moment.

I throw my arms up and say " Wow! Wow,wow! We're not here to cause harm." The boy looks doubtful but he slowly lowers his arm. I nod my head to Madelyn so she can go get it from him. As she goes to get it I ask the kid his name.

"My name is Alexie but you may call me Alex."

"Hi Alex, my names Jax. Alex do you know if there is anyone else here in the town?"

"No. There is no one else. Only me." Alex's voice trails off slightly and he looks sadly to the ground.

"Thanks. Madelyn go get Tori's group and have them go back to the base."

She nods and runs out the door. I turn to Alec to are him inspecting me. He looks away when I see him. I can see a faint tint of pink to his cheeks. Hmm I wonder what's that's about well, he probably just likes Madelyn.

I say to him " Alex do you think you would like to come with me to the group. There's 15 of us we got food,water,and medicine."

Alex looks at me for a second but then nods his head. As we walk towards the base I find out that even though his name is Russian, he is not, his parents just wanted to name him something different then what you would normally hear in a suburban town.

As we near the group I yell out "Zander" My best friend runs up to us and says "you must be the new guy Madelyn was talking about. Oh and I'm Alexander but people call me Zander"

"Hi my name is Alexie but you can call me Alex."

They shake hands and Zander says " Nice to meet ya. Are you the one that gots the electricity working out here?"

"Ya! I had (he says something really smart and weird) and I had the power some of the buildings out here.

"Cool! Well I better get going I have a fight to get to."

"You pissed Jordan off again. Last time he broke your nose and if Dylan hadn't have stepped in he probably would have beat you to death."

"I know. But he threaten to kill me for kissing Jayden"

"There's a reason. They are twins, just because Jordan doesn't talk to Jayden much doesn't stop him from playing the older brother role."

Zander scofs and walks off. I turn to Alex who had quietly watched the exchange.

"Sorry, about that."

Alex waves his hand dismisibly and questions "So I guess this Jordan person is not someone to get on the bad side of?"

"Definitely not. I may be second in command around here but the only person he listens to is Dylan, are leader."

Alex just nods and walks off to explore, I guess.

so its been forever since I've updated I'm sorry about that but early today i was reading a book and I'm like I should really update. So hear I am at almost midnight finishing a chapter after a football game that took a tone of energy even though we didn't march because of all the mud and wetness. So we played pep tunes and I almost died given I've been to busy memorizing show music to look at my pep music. So yay. Tonight was interesting and pretty eventful.
