AN: Hey, the song and quote above may be triggering so...i suggest if you are easily triggered don't read this story. But if you are going to them thank you for reading.
Delicate fingers fidgeted with an ivory skirt with good stitches as a young girl followed after her older sister. "M-minoki...I-i don't t-think this i-is a go-" she was cut off by a tanned, slender finger.
"It has to work this time Miko~." She placed a perfectly manicured hand on her abundant chest dramatically. "If it doesn't, I'll just die."
The younger one sighed and followed after the older girl to their destination.
If only she had taken her sister seriously...maybe... maybe things could have been different...
School was out and most of the students' parents had picked them up already. It was a sunny day, making the Ouran Middle School walls gleam like polished silver. The weather was too nice for what would follow later that day. It should have been storming.
The two girls say in front of two identical lockers as footsteps became louder, one giggling, the other a nervous wreck. The voices and footsteps came to a halt upon seeing the two girls, and mouths turning up in sneers.
"You again." The taller one scoffed and crossed his arms along with his look-alike.
It was Minoki's turn to be a nervous wreck. "I-I wanted to g-give this t-to you...Kaoru." Milo looked up in time to see an almost unnoticeable blush cross who she assumed to be Kaoru, the shorter one. The taller one stepped forward. "Why would you think I want your gift? What are you to me, hm?" He scoffed and towered over both girls in a menacing way. "Both of you, understand this, you are the fun under our shoes and honestly should die because the world doesn't need you."
Miko blinked blankly and acted as if the words uadnt affected her while tears welled up in the older female's eyes, tears rolling down her face in streams as "Kaoru" ripped the gift from Minoki and stomped on it before pulling a regretful looking "Hikaru" out of the hallway. Miko' s hands clenched into a fist and in a sudden burst of adrenalin she considered running after them but didn't in favor of leading her weeping sister to their waiting limbo. She should have gone after them.

Miko stepped out the shower and listened to hear of her parents were home but heard nothing. She finished drying her shoulder length hair and the rest of her body. Upon stepping out the room, she heard music playing from her sister's room, accompanying her tears. Miko let out a soft sigh and started on her algebra homework. For a sixth grader she was pretty advanced.

After finishing her homework, Miko still heard tears from her sister's room. Sighing once more, she walked down to the kitchen and pulled out the ingredients for chocolate chip brownies. They were something she and her sister would make without the maids when their parents left for a business trip. Miko thought maybe it would cheer up the older sibling.
After a short, dutiful 20 or so minutes, Miko was knocking on Minoki's perfectly painted pink door, a plate of steaming brownies in hand. Miko didn't hear any more crying from behind the door and decided to leave a treat for her sister when she woke up.
She slowly twisted the handle and opened the door to the dark room, lit by only the bright full moon through a big window.
It wasn't in slow motion like in the movies but Miko wished it was. She wishes it was a movie. She wished her sister was crying on the bed and singing along badly to sad lyrics. She wished she could hug her sister one more time and feel her heart beating. She wished her parents were here to hold her.
She wished she hadn't walked in on her sister hanging from the ceiling by a black karate belt.
